Liuba Houses - Zakinthou

My wife and I have stayed at Liuba Houses for two weeks two years in a row - last August and this August. We normally change our holiday destinations, but this time we decided to go back for a second time because we found Liuba Houses extraordinary for many different reasons. First of all, the owner - Georgios and his family - very nice and helpful people. In particular, Georgios was always very kind to us and both last year and this year he offered to drive us on the very first day to the local supermarket because, as clearly stated in the contract and on the website - the place offers accommodation but no meals. The accommodation we chose on both occasions was Agathi Maisonette, a lovely stone house, clean and comfortable and well-equipped with all that we needed. It has a wonderful swimming pool with crystal clear water without chemical additives which Georgios takes care in the early morning on a regular basis. We took advantage of the swimming pool every single day when coming back from the beach. Fortunately, cars can't enter the residence but must be parked in the very well-organized parking lot at the entrance, which is no more than 2 minutes' walk from the furthest house. This contributes to making the place special as guests can benefit from its quiet and tranquillity. We do want to thank Georgios for being so kind all the time, from the very first the moment, when we arrived and found a welcome pack on the table of 'our' Agathi Maisonette and in many other ways throughout our stay. We definitely recommend a stay at Liuba Houses to everybody and we ourselves hope to go back soon.

We stayed at Liuba Houses for a week. It's a great place for families: there is a very big yard, well taken cared of, with beautuful plants. We stayed in Aristos House. It has a living, a fully equiped kitched and two spacious bedrooms, each bedroom with its own bathroom. The house is very clean. In the first day, the owner gave us in a short 20 min tour of the soroundings, showed us the main beaches, some local attractions and recommended some places to eat. That was very useful for us :) If you are an animal lover, the owner has several pets, all vaccinated and friendly. Our kids enjoyed them.

The house and the property were stunning and very clean. We had a wonderful time here! Liuba houses are on a quieter spot of the island, very close to a gorgeous beach, Gerakas Beach. It was a perfect, relaxing vacation ? the view from the house we stayed in was so beautiful, it was hard to leave it to go to the beach! We definitely recommend Liuba Houses, and we hope we can come back soon!

We stayed in Liuba House - Agathi house, close to Gerakas beach for 8 days. During all our stay we received perfect service from George as the owner and from the staff. The house was clean, every day we received new clean towels, cleaning services was provided very carefully, pool was crystal clean as well. At the begining of our stay George show us all important places in Vasillikos area, recommend us taverns, in the middle of our stay he aranged for us the boat trip around the island. We can really recommend this place to every one, who want to spent perfect and peacefull family holiday - five stars standard.

Liuba houses are the best! This was our second time in the property. Last year 2018 we stayed at Christina house and it was so nice that we definitely wanted to come back. This time we were at Irene house. The place is very clean, the pool is great because it's private, the garden is so beautiful. The house is really spacious and I think it was renovated since last year with some new colors. All the nature around helps you to relax even more and to forget all worries. There is a parking place for each house. The owner of the place, George, is very hospitable, friendly and we could contact him always if we needed anything. If you are looking for a nice place, where you could relax, feel the nature, have a personal space and a great time with your family, Liuba houses should be your choice!

We stayed at the Agathi house for two weeks and we fell in love with this place and Giorgos. The property is superb, beautiful houses, very well equipped, with privacy, and sparkling clean pools. I liked the fact that everything was perfectly maintained and the hosts were very discreet. Gerakas beach (imo, the best beach in Vasilikos) is within walking distance - 8min away. Vasilikos itself is a beautiful area, with many unique beaches, away from crowded streets of the main city or Laganas, the party zone. Upon arrival, we received all the info needed to assure we have a pleasant stay (tips on where to eat, where the beaches are, pharmacy shops etc) and offered himself to help us with anything we might need (transfers, rental, etc). We had a wonderfully relaxing time and our hosts made a lot of that happen.

We booked our villa (two bed, two bath) with private pool for a well needed escape. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the pool! George was a fantastic host. He introduced us to great spots to eat, which were good quality and reasonably priced. We were thrilled with the hospitality (he really goes out his way to make your stay) and will be back.

From the moment we arrived through to our departure, Georgios and his wife were the perfect hosts. Soon after arriving he gave us a short tour of the local area, giving restaurant recommendations and a stop at the nearby supermarket. The property we stayed in had all the essentials, including a/c, with a crystal-clear pool. The house was spotless and cleaned every day. Georgios loaned us beach umbrellas and arranged a hire car for us. Nothing was too much of a problem. The location is quiet but still close enough to walk to Gerakas beach. We were able to eat out every night at a different restaurant during our week's stay, almost all within walking distance. A huge thank you for the restful vacation!
