Inspired, designed and created with signature care and love for detail, each MAAN piece is a locally produced original, made from selected fabrics and premium materials.

MAAN was founded in 2015 by Athens based designer and creative director Marilena Andreadi. A Central St, Martin’s graduate with a long and diverse background in fashion. Taken by the endless Greek sunshine and the seamless feeling of Fuss-Free Island Life, Marilena designs chic but carefree maillots for for stylish women who effortlessly mix & match culture with adventured and luxury with freedom.

“ORIGINS” SS2022 collection

In search of authenticity and breathing space, the Origins Collection draws the body back down to earth, to the natural rhythm and omnipotence of the island landscape. Wind-swept and deep-rooted, sun-baked and re-energised, nature absorbs and radiates. We are at once grounded and uplifted.

Through the rawness of a hand-carved block print of coastal roots and leaves, the crafted colourways honour the spirit of nature and the cyclical resilience of the sun from the promise of its first rays to the fading glory of its last.

Like the pale morning cool that rewards the early riser, “Daybreak” combines the shadowy purple and grey to the sleepy landscape and the blue and green of the brightening sky, with soft yellow highlights hinting t the heat of the day to come. As the red-hot intensity of the sun slowly subsides into pink, “Sundown” celebrates late – afternoon basking on burgundy – warm rocks, and just one last swim before sunset.

The collection has its roots in the laid back grace of Antiparos, a gem of the Greek Cycladic islands. Life is pared back to the simple rituals of summer days, time is measured by the rise and the fall of the sun. Slowly the body aligns with the natural grace of nature and reconnects to the raw origins of the landscape.
