★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CLOSED September 2021. Went there an a guy just told Us that all tombs are closed. Don't trust google's schedule maybe you have to call or book an appointment somehow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most exciting archaeological discoveries win this part of Greece in the past few years. This is close to Phillip tomb. However, this is a separate tomb done from about the same time. If you are lucky, the local guide will be there to explain this to you. The frescos are exquisites. More interestingly, is the iconography The 4 panels here ( which include a judgement ) parallel the 4 panels commonly seen in Byzantine churches.I really recommend you spend the night in the beautiful local town and try the great local wines.
