The chef was raised with Cretan food culture and went through French cooking education (being French myself I take 0 glory in that). Result: a mix of traditional Cretan with French technique that truly deserves them an award. This is by far the best food I have had in Crete. Hope you will heed this call, but for starters you can go with The cocktails from George which are as much as the service!!! Enjoy!!!

I can only recommend to anyone to go there with closed eyes. The staff is always friendly and very careful (special thanks to Dimitris and Christina). The atmosphere is very cosy - feeling like home.

It really is the best restaurant in Rethymno (or maybe in Crete!), the food is amazing and the prices are as cheap or even cheaper as at any other standard restaurant at Rethymno. Also, the service was super friendly and the atmosphere was really relaxing.

Even the presentation of food and drinks is spectacular, as well as the overall environment. Best food in Crete. The negative aspects is the service which is very slow, thw food usually comes 30 minutes later or even more even if the restaurant is totally empty and you are the only guest.
