★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place with nice people, one of the few ones open during the day. Eating there is a nice way to discover the quality traditional & local products one can buy at the adjoining shop. For on-the-go meal, simple but tasty, I would especially recommend homemade drinks and the halva ice cream.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fab little cafe set in the steps leading up to the cathedral. Lots of homemade treats, honey, jewellery, capers and soaps. The meze we ate was delicious and healthy drinks a yummy bonus. Lovely staff and quirky setting. Loved it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We can only imagine that people come here for the drinks but not for the meze. The food was decent but all of their meze had the same ingredients so we felt that we were eating the same plate multiple times. The service was nice.

The food is very tasty, the service is extraordinarily friendly and fast.
You should definitely try the homemade lemonades!
The shop offers local specialities, from jam to all kinds of salt and anchovies.
Highly recommended to visit this special place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had decided to climb to the monastery on the top of Amos Syros from the swuare in Hermopolis and about 20 minutes into the grueling steps in August on this hot day we were told there would be a lovely cafe about half way through. And this cafe does NOT disappoint. You absolutely have to get the Ginger Lemonade and Kiwi juice and do yourself a favor and SIT. There’s a fan that blows on you while you’re in the shade and it’s LOVELY
