The worst customer service I have ever encountered! Manetas offers a very nice variety of high quality tiles but I would stay away from making any business with them as their service is utterly unprofessional and unreliable. We placed an order in mid-November 2020 and were told that it would take 25 days for our order to arrive in Athens. Unfortunately, even the initial ordering process didn’t go so smoothly as there is only one person in charge of the orders at the store and he could only be reached via email. After waiting patiently for 25 days, we were told that the tiles were expected to arrive on December 17th. Needless to say that we always had to initiate the communication with the Manetas. Their service is extremely passive as they never bother to contact their clients well in advance with any updates on orders status and delivery times. Since we still trusted Manetas to deliver the tiles as scheduled, we moved forward and made renovation plans with our contractor accordingly. On December 17, I contacted the store again just to verify the exact arrival time of the delivery. The representative’s reply had left my quite alarmed as we then realized that our order has never made it to Greece as expected (tiles were ordered from Spain). The representative was not sure what had happened along the process and was then looking into it our ‘lost order’ issue. Only after two days it eventually turned out that the tiles were never even shipped from the factory in the first place. What a mess! Since we didn’t wish to waste anymore time, we were offered alternative tiles which were in stock. After receiving the alternative tiles, it became clear that the new tiles required some serious adjustments as well as investing extra time and effort by our contractor (which also extended the whole renovation process). In addition to this major inconvenience, another issue which we had realized after the fact was that our original order was split in two - with two separate deliveries taking place on different days. To conclude, Manetas’ delivery service is completely random. As already stated, Manetas has a very poor customer service, hence, we were not only frustrated by their unreliability and professional inaccuracy, but mostly by their lack of clear and supportive communication with their clients on time. From the very first stage Manetas’ representatives make you feel like they are doing you a ‘favor’ by delivering a very basic service, hence despite being the paying customer, you find yourself constantly chasing them down in order to get some clear answers, especially when a serious issue arises. We’ve clearly learned our lesson. We hope other people won’t do the same mistake.
