Apparently we should have interrupted her personal phone call to attract her attention, or the other two that were sitting around ignoring us. Every other meal I’ve had in Greece was fantastic and this restaurant was way below standard.

We also had a mixed meat platter for main which was amazing and all great value for money. The only thing that let this fabulous place down was the service. One waitress seemed more interested in flirting rather than tending to her customers. The lady was talking to a table behind us for 7 or 8 minutes whilst an elderly couple looked on, begging for some service, before the gentleman had to get up and tap her on her shoulder to get her attention. Overall, fantastic food, slow service! We, however were lucky and got our food and drink in super quick time, so can't complain on that. We just waited for a good 30-40 minutes to have our table cleared and to settle the bill.

We had a great time!
E	Eva Marie Fadel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Manolis Garden Tavern is a well hidden gem in the heart of Naxos Chora. It provides intimate dining with a polite staff. The portions are not for the faint of heart. Below is the small meatball appetizer that comes with an order of Naxos fried potatoes! The table next to us also ordered the same - it was no misunderstanding. The meatballs were tender and flavorful. The Naxo Sausage is very good and was served as you can see with a green salad, tsatsiki, pita bread. Order the bread it is made in house and a perfect texture. We rounded our our meal with the barrel red wine. The orange cake was served 'on the house'. If you know someone who has eaten here and didn't recommend it I would accuse them of keeping this taverna to themselves. Thank you Manoli & staff.
