Marcos Rooms has the best sunset in Oia with pictures featuring the iconic blue domed churches and a windmill! We had a a private roof top to eat gyros and drink wine and relax whilst watching and no crowds! The location is also perfect! In Oia but away from the busy Main Street but still only a minute walk to the Main Street! Also the hosts are very accommodating, we came in at 2am and they stayed awake to show us our room! They also served us breakfast even though we were an hour past the breakfast time!! Would stay there again! Only down fall is no AC only a fan in the room but worth it for the sunset view and it’s cool at night so windows open helps

Marcos Rooms are perfectly situated and have their own area for sunset viewing. It was wonderful to be provided with breakfast to start the day in this amazing place. The owners were friendly and helpful with information. The rooms were clean with fresh white sheets and towels.

Perfect location and unbeatable price. Great host to provide you with her famous cake and coffee. No AC or TV.

Very nice and charming rooms. Rooftop views for sunset and castle are simply spectacular. Beat the crowds at the castle, enjoy an intimate setting here at least for one of your nights! Even with a few other couples/families in the rooftop, we enjoyed ourselves so much more here in the evenings. It has plenty of space and seating.

Marco's Room is wonderful little gem (little is also a bit of an understatement)!! Its not nothing fancy but don't let that fool you. It's a piece of local touch and the hostess really makes your entire experience a delight. We were greeted with a warm treat of coffee, tea, chocolate, milk, or juice with some cake. All that topped with a beautiful sunset view from terrace made our stay such a delight. We only stayed the evening, but were given several options of room choices to suit our needs as we were travelling with our 8 month old son. They were so accommodating and even provided a small pack and play style crib. While air conditioning was not available, it wasn't necessary as there was so much natural air flowing all throughout the property. It was so interesting and rustic of an experience. It's location was perfect, right in the center of Oia so plenty places to shop, eat, and see and not far from either the the bus station or the market! Only recommendation, travel light with fewer luggage would make for a much easier trip experience! Definitely recommending a stay if your willing to try a more local experience at a great price! Also a little fact, the hotel is named after the lady hostess grandson! She loves visitors especially those with children and she treats everyone so wonderfully!

The location is fine, in the center of Oia. The smell of the cleaning supplier was so strong that it was hard to stay in the room, also the size of window was just ridiculous under the ceiling, the fresh air just couldn’t come to the room. So it was hard to sleep during the night. Location of the room is ok, but probably you want enjoy the staying there.

Whilst not the most glam and glitz of places to stay (or in any way modern tbh), we had a thoroughly comfortable time. The elderly couple that run this place on a day to day basis are lovely and caring, offering us coffee and cake that was super yummy (nowhere on the booking did it say that any food would be given). The location is also great, very central in Oia with a good sunset view (not so much sunrise).

Marcos Rooms is a hidden gem in Oia. The location is absolutely perfect, in the centre of town. The owners were very accommodating after we made a mistake with the dates of our booking and were able to make a room available for us. We received free breakfast, clean rooms and great service. A great sunset view on the balcony means you can be away from the crowds to view the sunset. Would definitely stay again.
