★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the restaurant is located in a great location and with great decor the food needs a lot of work.
Pizza boats has very few Ingredients and it feels like eating simple sourdough bread. Shrimp traxanoto was bad and not cooked well. Meat was not cooked the way it was ordered and plate chosen to be served is just wrong spilling gravy everywhere. Same for rest of dishes being mostly tasteless.
With a new chef and menu redesign it could change

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing environment, service, and food! Strongly recommended for a drink and bite in Kythnos Chora.
This year, the team added a brunch option by 2pm everyday, do not hesitate to try it, especially the avocado flatbread and the yogurt with peaches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing, both surprizing and indulging culinary experience, that we’ve discovered up the town on Kythnos island. We were lucky enough to receive a recommendation from a friend, but we’ve never expected such a treat. We were a fairly large group so we had a variety of dishes to eat. All were extraordinary tasty, a combinatio of traditional local ingredients with a modern, gourmet touch. The host was friendly , the waiters offerd good conversation and a great knowledge of wine. The wine list offers also a good pairing for the dishes. The choice of dessert does not dissapoint also :). The cheese cheam with mango sauce was the most softies and flavoured I’ve ever had. Also visit their shop, you won’t be dissapointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have visited this place many times during our holidays in Kythnos island for dinner, breakfast and drinks. The dishes we tried both on dinner and on breakfast were very delicious and tasty. I recommend the pancakes, one of the best plates I have ever tasted. They have a variety of excellent wines you can try and inside the restaurant there is a grocery room where you can buy traditional products from Greek islands and Greek producers. The ambience is amazing and the staff very friendly and polite. You should definitely visit Margiora restaurant in case you go in Kythnos !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit while in Kythnos. Atmospheric with great Energy! Exceptional wine and cocktails list. The location and architecture iconic. Food and can be improved as there wasn’t this one place to go back to for sure but it just opened and I guess it will be improved with the season opening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of all the restaurants I visited this summer in Greece, this truly has a place in my heart and will be my go-to place whenever I visit Kythnos.
The ambience is amazing, the location is wonderful, the service is as it should be for such a place. Casual, friendly and very knowledgeable.
We visited Margiora twice. For dinner and for breakfast and both were memorable.
For dinner we had two of their very tasty salads (the greek salad has a nice twist in it) and the octopus salad (although with not so much octopus in it…) was very tasty; the grilled string beans were a wonderful addition (and a revelation). Their shrimp dumplings is a must order, filled with mince shrimp and a light avocado sauce (which in all fairness should have been more)
The hit of the menu are their flatbreads offered in 5-6 variations. If you are a meat lover do please try the smoked minced lamb one. Spicy salty and full of umami. Would eat it again
Next day we went there for breakfast which was equally as good. We shared two egg dishes and a yoghurt one and all three were delicious.
I don’t know if Margiora on its own is a reason to visit Kythnos but if you plan on visiting Kythnos you would be hugely mistaken if you were not to dine there
