The location is really good as it is close to both the centre of the island and the port, the owner, Maria, is really kind, pleasant and helpful. The whole place is really clean, the rooms are cosy and each one has a beautiful balcony. I have already stayed there 2 times and I'm absolutely planning on staying again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This my first time staying in Maria’s Place, having been recommended by a friend. There is nothing I could fault about this establishment. The rooms were spacious and comfortable as well as having great air conditioning.
At such great prices, I can’t think of a better place to stay on the island. Overall a brilliant experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maria’s place is one of its kind in Ios. All the rooms are spacious, cleaned frequently and come with their own air conditioning. It is located within a two minute walk from the main village, bus stop and the heart of the night life. Along with all this you couldn’t ask for a better host than Maria, from making you mojitos to organising boat trips, she will do everything to accommodate you in your stay. Would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marias place was a holiday in paradise! My boyfriend and I went on a last minute trip to Ios at the end of last summer, and Maria very kindly gave us accommodation on such short notice. Maria was so kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived, right up to the moment we left. The room was very clean and spacious, with a lovely balcony! The location was excellent with so many amenities, such as restaurants, bars, shops, and nightclubs all within walking distance. I couldn't recommend staying here more! :)
