Great location, great hospitality, great in all respects We have stayed in Maria's apartments each September for the last six years, each year our stay has been for two weeks. The perfect location, comfortable accommodation and the genuine and sincere hospitality provided by Maria and her family has kept us going back year after year, and we've booked again for next September. We have stayed in the same comfortable and well-equipped apartment each year. Maria keeps the apartments scrupulously clean and goes above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need. The room's private and spacious south facing balcony looks directly out on to the fine beach. The beautiful beach and warm clear sea is only a stones throw from the apartment and is accessed through Maria's patio and garden. There are no roads or pathways to cross. The free sunbeds and parasols provided by Maria are a real bonus. Maria's apartments are wonderfully located half way along Makrigialos's main beach. A good selection of bars, restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance. The fact that we return each year is a testament to the enjoyable holidays we have had at Maria's. I had a great time by Maria's apartments! Especially mornings were my favourite ones. Only few steps from the beach brought me happiness and relaxation gazing the blue shades of the sea and leaving footprints on the sand! I had one of the best time on my holiday. Maria's Apartments are my first choice for an individual Crete holiday. The flats are located directly on the beach of Makrigialos. I first stayed at Maria Tsanaskalioti's Apartments in June 1990. That was 31 years ago!!! Since then I have spent many holidays there! It was extremely relaxing and I was always warmly and hospitably welcomed by Maria. She is an incomparably lovely person! Pure Crete!

I have been here multiple times, and want to come back to every time! The owner Maria and her daughters make sure you have a stress-free, wonderful time. They are so nice and welcoming! The apartments are very clean and modern and the view from the seaside apartments!! It's beautiful!
