★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right on the beach, you can enjoy the typically warm sea all day long, without moving around. The apartments are comfortable for a family, clean and fully equipped, so dinner on your big balcony with Greek "meze" and "ouzo" will be a cool way to finish your day. Children safely get around from the apartment to the beach, where the shallow water becomes their playground! The location gives you the opportunity to explore the area where small beaches and traditional villages blend. Take a note about the weather and check for strong winds or heatwaves!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in apartment 5 in complex 2. It is very basic accommodation. You chose to stay here for the position. When you open the bedroom shutters you are welcomed with brilliant sunshine and the beach, quite literally on your doorstep. It couldn't be better in my opinion.
On your “bit of beach” you have sun-beds and a shower and of course you can simply pop into your room through out the day for drinks from your kitchen. Saves a fortune, we could have sat there all day.
200m one way is a bakers where you sit and have a croissant and a coffee for your breakfast. The other way is towards the harbour, about 7 minute walk, passing a few bars, restaurants, mini marts and shops on the way.
Manos the owner is a very genuine and good man so we would recommend him and Villa Kamara for a stay in Makry Gialos.
