★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice village from which you take the closest ferry to Evia when coming from Athens and going to the north part of Evia. Local attraction are the village dogs that go from car to car in the ferry line to nicely ask for food, come to the car windows and people give them pieces of food they have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very well organized operations related to ferry boarding and ticket purchasing. There is also a police officer directing people into correct waiting line. Ferry ride from Glyfa to Agiocompos takes cca 25minutes because the ferry is not very fast, it goes 12 to 13 kilometers per hour.
