★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Neos Pirgos is a village in the Prefecture of Evia., on the northwest side of the island.The village was founded in 1924 when the refugees who arrived in 1923 with the exchange of population in Edipsos from the village of Pyrgos near Constantinople.Clear blue waters, harbors, moles and traditional ouzo with fresh fish.
The beach of Neos Pirgos is a long beach with sand . It is a clean beach with plenty of people in the summer months.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for quiet family vacations. Good beach with pedestrian. Municipal could maintain better surrounding areas and pedestrian. Road lights in some areas during the night are inadequate. Not many choices for eating or having a after midnight coctail. Polite people.
