★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel right at the edge of the beach. Fantastic view and great for swimming and lounging. Rooms vary from fairly basic with a shared bathroom and kitchen to more standalone units (private bath/kitchen). The hosts are very helpful and very nice. Would consider renting again just for the beach access alone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Markos was a great find! We backpacked across Greece and were happy to come across this gem. 10 minutes (across the beautiful beach and up a short hill) to Mykonos Town center. Our room was simple, clean and had all the amenities you need to enjoy yourself at a boutique hotel (mini fridge, sink, dishes, cutlery, kettle, hot plate, closets, blankets, a/c and heater, smart tv, shared beach view terrace with seating). Plus it's literally on the beach... We visited in the middle of October and found the beach to be pleasantly warm. If you are looking to stay in Mykonos, save a few dollars, and enjoy a beach close to town, Markos Beach Hotel should definitely make your short list!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best locations in Mykonos, calm and quite beach just a few footsteps from the hotel. Room is clean and has a kitchen. The owner is a very friendly person. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing value for money.
Excellent location: Really close to town, but far enough out to get the peace and quiet, amazing view of the ocean and immediate access to the beautiful beach and one of the best places on the island to view the famous sunset every night.
Clean and well maintained: We stayed in the top part which has shared bathroom, kitchen and terraces. There was no problem waiting to use stuff because people are always in and out, they are kept clean, and the atmosphere here promotes everyone to be respectful and considerate. The shared aspect was great because we made some amazing friends because of it.
It is family run: the family who run the hotel are always there to help and are so lovely that I nearly cried when saying goodbye to them.
WARNING: the beach and the sea are gorgeous, but I'd recommend taking some kind of rock shoes to protect your feet as the rocks can be slippery and a bit sharp in places.
