★ ★ ★ ★ ★ winnimg the lottery is a happy ocasion for every one.
for most people it is money.
for me it was finding the "Iris'.
a new modern catamaran owned by sylvia and peter, the skipper.
with little experience on yachts i rememberd the
cramped ,dark, smelly yachts i have been on.
what a surprise!!!!!
big open space full of light.
panoramic windows.
sun tanning matresses.
privat shower and toilet.
but above all , an experienced kaptain with endless
patience. in a week i learned about sailing as a much as a three month course on land.
he knows the best places for swimming, the best taverns,the best way to set sails and course.
for me additional bonus was the crew, all from bulgaria, my home land.
at last i could speak my native languge which i rememberd from childhood, but had little chance to use in israel where i have been living for the past 73 years.
sylvia dear, please book me for the next year and the next and the next as long my health permits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The week that we spent on Iris was one of the most unforgettable moments I have ever experienced. The captain is not only a totally qualified sailing person, but a very interesting and enjoyable person in matters of communication. We had a lot of fun, joy, smiles, laughter, and visited beautiful places like out of these world. I will definitely return to Iris and I sincerely recommend that experience to anyone who is interested in having a really quality service during his vacation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent 6 unforgatable days on IRIS catamaran. It has everything you need for a great vacation. Very comfortable one with all facilities on one hand away. And Petet, the captain is great person you could entirely trust! Of course, the weather and the people around are also key for the full exciement. I was very lucky in this regars :-) Can't wait for the next trip with Peter and IRIS.

Iris is a very reliable, stable, luxury catamaran which sails you in short trips from one beautiful place to the next one. Peter and Silvia are doing an excellent job, dragging you into a week of paradise

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sailing with Matern Yachting exceeded all my expectations! Peter is very experienced and professional captain, I felt safe during whole trip despite the fact I am afraid of water. Silvia is super host who is taking care about the smallest details to make a trip perfect. Thanks to her, atmosphere on board is so comfortable and caring that you don’t want to leave it!
They know the most beautiful, breathtaking bays, the tastiest restaurants, provide you additional water sport equipment so you will be never bored.
Catamaran itself is luxury, fully equipped with everything you may need.
This was one of best vacation experiences I have ever had!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked the Catamaran with Peter Matern as captain and the whole experience was amazing. Silvia was extremely nice and helpful from the start until the end of our adventure. It was our first sail on a Catamaran and it was more then great. Our two kids loved it. We can't wait to sail again with Peter and Silvia. The captain was very accommodating, experienced and knowledgeable. The Catamaran was much more then expected and offers a lot of amenities and comfort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have sailed on a sailing catamaran once or twice before, but always for 1 day; to go diving or just for fun. Never before have I been on a sailboat or catamaran for several days let alone living on it for a week with other (unknown) people. It was my friend who convinced me to go on an adventure with him... and so we did.
On Saturday 24/05 we boarded this beautiful and luxurious catamaran in the port of Volos -Greece.
Peter (the captain) welcomed us warmly along with his wife Silvia.
We got to know our fellow travellers over a welcome drink and our adventure started.
Whether you would like to participate sailing activaly or rather enjoy a drink on deck in the sun with the beautiful view; Peter and Silvia are happy to take you on a trip along the most beautiful islands in the Aegean Sea. All comfort and everything is present on board and otherwise it will be taken care of.
You can go for a swim and sleep in the most beautiful bays and the nicest harbors where you can go shopping and enjoy local delicacies. We had much fun, saw so beautiful places and got to know such nice people.
Peter and Silvia ensure with all their experience and knowledge that every trip is an unforgettable experience.
