I really love all of the plates that we ate … especially the Mykonian salad, the rooster cooked in wine and the trahanoto with turmeric cream…
You have to taste them !!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant, with a tree flowing out over the outside sitting area, clean and good views of the port and harbour, which is always busy with ferries, water taxis and huge ocean liners.
The food, we were expecting more traditional in means of the dishes, the flavours were there, but they lacked the authenticity of true Greek dishes.
We ordered, the Tsatsiki, Greek salad, the filled mushrooms, the zucchini filled with cheese, and ouzo to drink,. Good portions for sharing!!!
The rest of the meals did not really grab us to try more!!!
Service was excellent, overall a nice, light evening.
And there is parking at the back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely staff. Food was a 6.5/10. Had one cocktail and it was sweet and tasteless. House wine was okay, music was loud and a bit frenetic. Four stars overall.
Removed another star as they wouldn’t give me a seat at the edge of the terrace as I was dining on my own. There from 20:00 to 22:05 and watched between 5 and 7 tables with a view remain empty, with some reset for walk ins as they arrived. Solo diners need a view most of all! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely atmosphere, remarkable food quality. Love how the pappardelle and the rooster was cooked! Server was attentive, he provided an apron in case i spill the red sauce onto my clothes. Impressive!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mathios Tavern is incredibly beautiful, is kept neat and spotless, is stunningly authentically decorated and the staff are friendly and very welcoming. Their portion sizes are more than ample, super delicious and extremely well presented.

Staff are great, attentive, professional and very friendly.
Easily accessible from the sea bus it's well worth the visit.
