Unfortunately this is not just an all inclusive hotel only anymore as it used to be. They now do half board, meaning you now don't get any a la carte included, no restaurant at lunch to book, just Buffet buffet buffet, all the same restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Which isn't that great, 3 star at best. Now this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel and in everything else it is BUT the food. No table cloths, no little lights to make your evening meal enjoyable. No you get a proper cloth napkin at dinner, that's it!!! It's not relaxing, you feel very rushed, very noisy, and unfortunately not a great eating experience. Then in the evening you go upstairs to get a drink where you have about 10 people in the queue in front of you and one person serving! This was a bug bear as the other bar at reception, was very well managed and served everyone in very good time with nicer bigger glasses. The pool bars closed at 6pm so you can't get a drink after 6pm unless to go inside to the bar on the top floor in your bikini. Also the notice says you can only swim from 10-6pm in the pool!!! The sun was still fabulous till well after 8pm. This was my 4th time going back as it used to be amazing, but will no longer be returning as they've pulled their belts in too tight and unless you want to pay for a la carte meal or proper baristas coffee (only get a push button coffee with all inclusive) on top of your already paid all inclusive ! Such a shame ? The beach was amazing, water crystal clear, bar people by the beach are great. But beware the hill going down to the beach and coming back up it!!! It's tough ?. Restaurants along the beach were very good with a supermarket there as well.

what we liked: - great location, 2 pools and a private beach - various beach restaurants where the hotel beach ends - very clear sea water to swim and dive - every room with sea view (nice sunsets every evening) - not too much, but enough place to park your rental car - the bar keeper at the lobby bar was very entertaining what we did not like: - no changing rooms where you can change clothes if you arrive early and your room is not ready (do not expect your room to be ready before 4pm) - staff always friendly but often very unorganised - bad service at main restaurant - no salt on one day at the breakfast menu - every morning we had to wait long before we got a thermos of coffee, which was big but always have empty (just enough for about 3 small cups), one day we got the thermos but did not get any cups so after a while we had to take some from another table - juice for breakfast was thin and artificial - big dinner buffet in main restaurant with mediocre quality, maybe the specialty restaurants (which have to be paid for separateley) are better; otherwise I would recommend booking breakfast only and getting dinner somewhere else - cleanliness of rooms not good (always hair on the floor, in the bathroom there was an empty toilet paper roll under the basin when we arrived, which was still there when we left after five days) - beach towel return not possible any more after 6pm (which may be a problem when you have to leave early in the morning), in that case I would recommend returning the towels when checking out, otherwise you may be charged with 10,- EUR per not returned towel Altogether a very nice spot with much potential if the hotel management would care more for tidyness and quality of food and service. But at the moment not what I would expect from a five star hotel.

- Arrival I arrived 4th May 2022 with a friend of mine (both aged 20), only a few days after they opened for the season. As soon as we arrived, we were guided to the sofas at reception, and handed a mimosa. The manager was very friendly. Once we'd checked in, we were escorted by buggy to our room in the main building. It was a strange set of corridors to our room, but the view was beautiful. We had a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us, and the fridge was stocked with water. - Room We had a standard sea-view room, which we were very content with. The bed was comfortable and large, and the room temperature was optimal. The bathroom was fine, and it was clean. The balcony was a nice size, with a table and 2 chairs. Our room was 1402, which was about 4 floors above where the deck with the sunbeds are. We had no noise disturbance from outside. However, every 5 or so minutes we would hear a noise which I can only describe as a chair scraping on the floor (I believe it's from the pipes). This didn't really disturb us as we weren't in the room for long periods, however I imagine some visitors will have an issue. - Food & Drink We were all inclusive. For each meal, a waiter will come over to your table and ask what you'd like to drink. If you're ordering an alcoholic drink, you'll need to show your all-inclusive card. Breakfast was the same selection each day. I loved the grand selection of yoghurt and toppings. As a Brit, I would've liked to see some hash-browns, but that's just me being picky. Lunch was a nice selection, not too dissimilar to what was served at dinner. I loved the salad selection and the different cheeses, and the bread selection was nice. Some more grilled chicken options would've been nice, as they seemed to be popular and go quick. Loved the dessert selection, mousses, cakes, and baklava (really delicious, better than the baklava I bought in Corfu Town). The hostess for lunch and dinner was so lovely, and seemed genuinely happy to see us each time. The all inclusive cocktail selection had a nice selection, however most drinks were fizzy- not great if you don't like carbonated drinks like me. The ones I did have were nice, a fair amount of alcohol. We mainly went to the beach bar, and the bartender was friendly. Coffees were also served late into the night, which was nice to sit on the main bar balcony with. - Hotel We were here for 5 days. Most days we'd spend all day on the beach. As it was early into the season, it was very quiet, lots of sunbeds free. I've never been anywhere with a private beach spot before, which felt very luxurious. The sea was lovely and clear to swim in. This is definitely the place you want to come to completely recharge. We also lay on the beds on the deck, very quiet here too. The entertainment staff were lovely, although not very successful in their attempts and getting people to partake in activities, bless them. Some beach/ outdoor activities would've been better than the indoor ones they had planned, however it was less than a week after the opening, so of course it was going to be a struggle. The majority of guests are couples in their 50's, some younger couples, and only a few groups of friends. This didn't impact our enjoyment. On check-out, our bags were stored in the luggage room. We weren't offered a room to freshen up in before we left for the airport, but we managed fine. - Location (Agios Gordios) We got the bus to corfu town a couple of times, which was very easy from the bus stop in the town- about a 8 minute walk. As we went when it was very quiet, a lot of the spots in town weren't open, and there was hardly anyone around. Be aware that going not peak season means less nightlife. - Overall Thoughts For the price you're paying, the value for money is good. I see a lot of negative reviews, which I believe stem from the 5 star hotel rating. You're not paying for a completely luxury experience, so don't expect perfect. If a relaxing holiday is what you desire, this is a great place. The beach is just gorgeous!

Great place with great views that are unbelievable, food in the restaurant got a bit repetitive not a five star hotel like it says but enjoyed our stay would go back. If you struggle with walking it's very hilly but the are golf buggies to take and pick you up from most of the grounds. But not direct to the beech

Bit disappointing the hotel is definitely not a 5 star. As per the website we we're giving the impression there is more than one restaurant covered by the all inclusive package. Instead you had to eat buffet for breakfast, lunch and supper in the same restaurant. The food was substandard & trying to order a drink off anyone in the restaurant was impossible. The deluxe room was nice, again missing some 5 star items. The clean towels left in the rooms were old and torn some days. A strong 3 star not worth the money to pay all inclusive for.

Arrived at 21.35 to late for dinner so the gave us sandwiches. A welcome drink & had to check in through there app. All info on the app but not enough information I would say. We booked half board & had the buffet everyday I was under the impression that we had 6 restaurants to choose from but no where said this. Entertainment no timetable anywhere it was only by chance we walked up from dinner & the Greek evening was on which was great. The breakfast was amazing everything anyone would want, evening meals also alot of choice but lacking in taste. It was so busy & for a 5 star hotel I expected different.( A bit like a cattle market) not relaxing at all noisy tbh. The room was spacious & airy but stains all over the settee considering the hotel had only been a week I would of thought a deep clean before opening would of gone ahead being a 5 star hotel, we also had an ant infestation but soon sorted when they were told. The cleaner came in every day but didn't clean the bathroom I would of thought a 5 star hotel would service the room but did change towel & give clean cups new bottle of water everyday. You do get beach towels you have to pick up from pool attendant & you can change every day but one day I went to pick up new towels no towels & they didn't know when there would be any so I used room bath towels. (Not good enough!) Having said all of that I can not speak highly enough of the staff so friendly we did love the place the good things out weigh the bad. We would definitely go back it is beautiful the views from the balconies are excellent. In our opinion 3.5 to 4 star we would say!

Beautiful location, amazing views and lovely beach. Hotel is very clean and the staff are great. Food is nice. The only downside are the beds are way to firm. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at the hotel for 5 days 4 night with my boyfriend for my graduation trip. I must say I have been to many 5-stars hotel and travelled the world but this hotel, by far is on top of my list. I have NO SINGLE COMPLAIN. Just FLAWLESS service, clean room, amazing food!!, sufficient bar and I do not understand how is it possible, with the amount of guests, areas, restaurants, bars, etc. The staffs are able to tend to every single guests’ needs and even at buffet, they served u drinks individually. Even smt as simple as a glass of water. I don’t think I have ever seen this level of service before. It’s out of this world. Staff are Polite. Fast. Friendly. Exceptional. I would a 100% recommend and this shouldn’t be a four or five stars hotel. It deserves 10++ and much more. Best experience of my life.
