★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. Wow. Wow. Like home-cooking if you have a Greek grandma. Absurdly cheap. Really nice people. Utmostly excellent food with some unorthodoxly great dishes. Try the beef with sauce and “weeds” salad. Oh wow.

The taverna is together with butcher so meat selection and preparation is excellent. Every day few dishes and anything from the grill. Fantastic food, Fantastic people, family business. Hope to be here soon again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the second time we dined at Nontas with my friends and I have to say both times we really enjoyed ourselves! The tavern is located at a quaint spot, viewing the little village square. The owners are friendly, warm and well-mannered and the place is spotlessly clean (the bathroom is excellent). The portions are huge and the boiled greens, artichoke omelette and appetizers are all excellent. I am a vegetarian myself and I aprreciated the owner offering to prepare a wholesome omelette for me. My friends looked pleased with the meat dishes, too. All in all, I highly recommend Nontas!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you ever get to Nafplio you must take the time to go to Nontas Tavern about 30 minutes out. Best fresh meat you will eat and home cooked meals.
The service by Nonta and his family and staff just brilliant. We will be back fantastic food and unbelievably cheap.
