Ξεχωρα απ αυυο το φαγητο κακο και οι 2 που εφαγαν κοκκινιστο ειχαν θεμα ολη τη νυχτα. We were charged 4 euros more and when we showed it their mistake they told us that they do us a favor. Apart from this, the food was bad and the 2 who ate blushed had an issue all night.

La mamma-cuoca (conosciuta personalmente) è una signora simpatica e pulita. Cura personalmente la cucina. Non propone piatti elaborati o ricercati, propone la cucina basica, quella semplice di una volta. Quindi se cercate la novità o il piatto ricercato non fermtevi qui ma, se cercate un piatto semplice e fresco allora lo troverete. Un consiglio, informatevi perché il pesce non sempre è fresco, potrebbe essere congelato. Opened in 1978, it was the first tavern to open on the island of Donoussa. The menu is not very varied, consulting it one might think that the proposal is limited, but the food served is fresh from the day. The mother-cook (known personally) is a nice and clean lady. He personally takes care of the kitchen. It does not offer elaborate or refined dishes, it offers basic cuisine, the simple one of the past. So if you are looking for the novelty or the refined dish do not stop here but, if you are looking for a simple and fresh dish then you will find it. A tip, find out because the fish is not always fresh, it could be frozen.

The beef sandwich with the pickled cucumber and carrots is to die for! And the Boba tea and peach oolong tea were so good, I had to go back for seconds. It was nice to have options of a different cuisine on the island. If you happen upon the beautiful island of Donoussa, please try the food at Meltemi. You will not regret it!

The owners are wonderfully hospitable and open to accommodating different taste and dietary requirements. They balance local ingredients with authentic essentials of Chinese cuisine - diligently importing from China to preserve the flavour. Thank you so much!
