Metohi Kindelis - Par. 2i Eleftherias

ANAZING!!! My friends and I spent a couple of days here and it was lovely. Danae and staff were helpful at every turn. The refrigerator was stocked with produce from their farm and other local items. It was delicious and so fresh. The private pool was paradise. Overall, I highly recommend and plan on visiting again.

We've been coming for years to our favourite place - a perfect idyll. Beautiful units carved out of the farmhouse with amazing gardens and pools. Delicious breakfast ingredients provided, especially fruit grown right here on farm, and wonderful management.

Wrong location. Noisy as there is a highway close by. Very far from tourist attractions.

If you have an opportunity to stay here, do. You'll never forget it. A very special place.

Metohi Kindelis is a piece of heaven. This magic place is run by a lovely Greek family that will make your holiday a dream. A family that will treat you as guests and will be always polite and helpful. From the very first moment you step your feet inside you will feel completely relaxed. Metohi Kindelis is a farm hotel where every detail has been chosen consciously. The houses are decorated with exquisite taste and you feel the countryside’s vibe. Also I would like to mention than the houses are incredible clean and you will have nice kitties visiting in the garden. The breakfast is a dream, the best I’ve ever had in Greece. Your fridge is full with organic, delicious products to prepare a wonderful breakfast and when I say full it means that you won’t be hungry if you decide to stay at home. The products from the farm are incredibly good, especially the mangoes and avocados. It’s so relaxing to walk in the farm fields! I can’t wait to go back :) Marta + Leo

A wonderful place, and such great hosts. A truly unique experience and one that you will remember for a long time.

We visited Metohi Kindelis in late May 2022 and stayed in the Kyriakos apartment. We had such a fantastic and relaxing trip and we really couldn't have asked for anything more! The apartments are laid out really thoughtfully so you have a lot of peace and privacy; we barely saw or heard another guest the whole week we were staying. The wonderful welcome and hospitality from Danai, Linda and the team, and the endless flow of amazing fresh fruit, avocadoes, and yoghurt for tasty breakfasts made the stay so special. We also loved spending time by our private pool, which was set in a wildflower garden, full of butterflies and birds. The apartment contained everything we needed to cook our own simple meals, but as it's located in the suburbs of Chania, decent restaurants are not far away. We went without a car - taxis into town were fairly easy, but we did walk in on one day (as long as you're very careful on the roads!). There's a well-stocked supermarket just a few minutes drive away (or about a 20 minute walk, but roads are quite busy) or there are some places that will deliver takeaway if you prefer. You can hardly notice the sound of the main road nearby - much more audible are the peacocks calling in the distance! This is the perfect place for a relaxing escape and we cannot wait to find an excuse to go back!

Absolutely gorgeous. The perfect little paradise on the outskirts of Chania - private, beautiful surroundings, it felt incredibly natural and peaceful, and host Danai is so lovely and accommodating. The private pool was perfect, the room comfortable, clean, and luxurious in an understated way - the house is incredibly pretty with such an interesting history. All you can hear are peacocks, birds and little frogs at night, and the daily fresh food deliveries to the kitchen in our room were so charming, amazing avocados, oranges, cheese and cakes. LOVED IT. Only downside is you're just outside Chania (5 minutes) so do need a car and the parking in town can be a bit crazy, but you need a car to travel around the island anyway so it's not an issue. Don't hesitate to book Metohi Kindelis!
