Great place with amazing view and private access to the water. Definitely recommend this place!!

++: very « instagrammy » and photogenic, nice to open the huge door and see the sea just steps ahead. Nice pretty kitchen. Bed and pillows are good quality. —-: sewage smells every time someone takes a shower. The shower has a huge temperature issue, where it is either lukewarm or burning hot, switching every 2 seconds (you have to learn to anticipate when it will get to burning hot so it’s not on a « sensitive area »....!) Billions of insects in the room, even with lots of chemical bugs repellent. They come attracted by your phone light, walk on you and bite (mosquitos and little flies). They enter via is a window grid in the room that you can't shut. The bathroom feels humid and isn’t luxurious The lower floor apartment has direct access to the sea. But they are Jellyfish and see urchin just in front. There is no ladder to come back so either you swim back to the beach either you risk putting your feet on an urchin. Could use a « private » sign on the terrace as some people walk on it to take pictures, even when you are there! At night Firopotamos isn’t fun (no restaurants around). Have a light on on your phone when coming back at night as the stairs to the apartment are extremely dark. Finally, someone came and parked his boat 50 cm from our terrace, ruining the view a bit. All in all, a fun accommodation, unusual and beachfront, but I wouldn’t call it luxurious, could use the above improvements!
