Ο Αφανής Ναύτης, είναι ένα από τα πιο χαρακτηριστικά μνημεία της πόλης & στέκει αγέρωχος από το 2006-01 σε ένα από τα πιο όμορφα σημεία της πόλης.
 City like Kalamata must have a monument for all the unsung sailors who either left their last breath in the sea, or managed to return unharmed to their families were waiting for them. The Invisible Sailor, one of the most characteristic monuments of the city, and stands magnificent from 2006-01 in one of the most beautiful spots in the city.
