★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ακριβώς απέναντι από το δημαρχείο Παπάγου Χολαργού βρίσκεται το ηρώο όπου συνήθως γίνεται η κατάθεση στεφάνων στις μεγάλες εθνικές εορτές. Είναι αφιερωμένο σε όλους όσους έδωσαν τη ζωή τους για το Έθνος των Ελλήνων. Δεσπόζει η γνωστή επιγραφή " Ἀνδρῶν ἐπιφανῶν πᾶσα γῆ τάφος" από το έργο του Θουκυδίδη Επιτάφιος του Περικλή (Β, 43).
 Right in front of the town hall of Papagou Holargos is the hero where wreaths are usually laid on major national holidays. It is dedicated to all those who gave their lives for the Nation of the Greeks. Dominates the well-known inscription "Ἀνδρῶν ἐπιφανῶν πᾶσα γῆ τάφος" from the work of Thucydides Epitaph of Pericles (Β, 43).
