★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ ωραίο μέρος, με το Μοναστήρι ανακαινισμένο, αλλά χωρίς μοναχούς (όταν πήγαμε εμείς 1/2020). Επίσης, έχει δίπλα ποταμάκι, με παλιό νερόμυλο και 2-3 γεφυράκια. Αξίζει μια μικρή στάση στην διαδρομή για τις Πύλες του Άδη στα Σεριζιανα!
Very nice place, with the Monastery renovated but without monks (when we went 1/2020). It also has a riverside, with an old watermill and 2-3 bridges. Worth a short stop on the route to the Gates of Hades in Seriziana!

Αφιερωμένη στην Κοίμηση της Θεοτόκου. Κοντά είναι αναστηλωμένος ένας απο τους παλαιότερους νερόμυλους. Η Μονή ειναι ιστορικό διατηρητέο μνημείο.
At a distance of only 17km. from Louros and 4 km after Kato Kotsanopoulos to Vrysoula, on the left of the road between ferns, olive trees and plane trees is one of the oldest monasteries of Epirus, the Monastery of Avassos. Dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin. Near is restored one of the oldest watermills. The monastery is a historical monument.
