N	Nektarios Tsiopas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η ηρεμία, η γαλήνη με το πνευματικό ηχόχρωμα που συνδυάζει την ιστορία της μονής και τη χάρη της Παναγίας της Πορταΐτισσας που θησαυριζεται στο ναό της μονής, σε κατακτούν αμέσως μόλις διαβεις την εξωτερική πύλη του μοναστηριού. Στην πορεία σου προς την κεντρική αυλή, περπατάς παράλληλα με τα βοηθητικά κτίσματα (ξενώνες, ελαιοτριβείο, κλπ) και στα δεξιά σου το δάσος που επίσης έχει πρόσβαση - παράκαμψη προς την είσοδο. Μόλις φτάσεις στην κεντρική πύλη και την διαβεις σε υποδέχεται το επιβλητικό καμπαναριό, στη συνέχεια ακολουθεί η κεντρική αυλή με τον παλιό ιστορικό ναό εντός του οποίου φυλάσσεται η θαυματουργή εικόνα της Παναγίας της Πορταΐτισσας (αντίγραφο από την Ιερά Μονή Ιβήρων Αγίου Όρους). Όμορφος, δροσερός ναός, πέτρινος με περίτεχνο ξυλόγλυπτο τέμπλο, υποβλητική ατμόσφαιρα, σε προδιαθέτει να προσευχηθείς και να προσκυνήσεις. Απέναντι από το ναό, η έκθεση με εργόχειρα, εκκλησιαστικά είδη, καλλυντικές κηραλοιφες, χειροποίητα γλυκά του κουταλιού, μαρμελάδες, ζυμαρικά, τραχανάς, βότανα κ.α. και παραδίπλα το αρχονταρίκι. Πιο πίσω τα κελιά των μοναχών και στο κέντρο της αυλής μεγάλο δέντρο που σκιάζει εξαιρετικά και παρακείμενα μια βρύση νερού 2 αιώνων τουλάχιστον!! Υπέροχη αμφιθεατρική τοποθεσία τοποθετημένο το μοναστήρι στην κορυφή του λόφου πάνω από το χωριό Κορνοφωλιά και θέα όλο τον κάμπο. Αξίζει επισκέψεις τόσο για εκκλησιασμό όσο και απλά για προσκύνημα και να βιώσετε την θερμή υποδοχή και φιλοξενία από τις μοναχές!! The tranquility, the serenity with the spiritual sound that combines the history of the monastery and the grace of Panagia Portaitissa that is treasured in the temple of the monastery, conquer you as soon as you cross the outer gate of the monastery. On your way to the main courtyard, you walk parallel to the auxiliary buildings (hostels, olive mill, etc.) and to your right the forest that also has access - bypass to the entrance. As soon as you reach the main gate and cross it you are greeted by the imposing bell tower, then follows the main courtyard with the old historic church in which is kept the miraculous icon of Panagia Portaitissa (copy from the Holy Monastery of Iveron on Mount Athos). Beautiful, cool temple, stone with ornate wood-carved iconostasis, evocative atmosphere, predisposes you to pray and worship. Opposite the temple, the exhibition with handicrafts, church items, cosmetic wax ointments, handmade pastries, jams, pasta, trachanas, herbs etc. and next to the little house. Further back the cells of the monks and in the center of the yard a large tree that shadows exceptionally and adjacent a water fountain of at least 2 centuries !! Wonderful amphitheater location, the monastery is located at the top of the hill above the village of Kornofolia and overlooks the entire plain. It is worth visiting both for church and just for pilgrimage and to experience the warm welcome and hospitality from the nuns !!

T	Teti Gallas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στολίδι της Ορθοδοξίας και πνευματικός φρουρός σε αυτή την ακριτική γωνιά της χώρας μας. Αγιορείτικο άρωμα , γεμάτο κατάνυξη και πνευματικές εμπειρίες. Φιλοξενία και ζεστασιά , αυτά που αποκομίσαμε στην εκεί παραμονή μας,τόσο από την αδελφότητα όσο κι από τον κόσμο που ευλαβείται την Μονή. Μακάρι,να αξιωθούμε να το επισκεφτούμε ξανά! Ornament of Orthodoxy and spiritual guard in this corner of our country. Mount Athos fragrance, full of devotion and spiritual experiences. Hospitality and warmth, what we gained during our stay there, both from the fraternity and from the world revered by the Monastery. I wish we could visit it again!
τ	τριο παπαθεο on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο επισκέπτης μπορεί να δει το αντίγραφο της θαυματουργής εικόνας της Παναγίας της Πορταίτισσας καθώς και τα λείψανα του ποδιού του Αγίου Χαραλάμπους τα οποία ήρθαν στην κατοχή της Μονής μετά την παραχώρησή της στην Μονή Ιβήρων. Επίσης αξίζει κανείς να θαυμάσει το παλιό ξυλόγλυπτο, σκαλιστό, επίχρυσο με τις παλιές εικόνες τέμπλο του ναού καθώς και την Δέσποινα των Ιλασμών που κρατεί στο αριστερό χέρι τον θεϊκό της γιό και είναι καλυμμένη από τα αναρίθμητα τάματα των πιστών. Αυτά ως προς το μοναστήρι. Κατά την επίσκεψή μου για να προσκυνήσω την εικόνα της Παναγίας και τα λείψανα του Αγίου Χαραλάμπους (εν μέσω κορωνοϊού) μια μοναχή μου είπε ότι τα λείψανα του Αγίου δεν διατίθενται προς προσκύνηση λόγω..... κορωνοϊού. Ως πιστό αυτό με λύπησε απίστευτα πολύ γιατί η ορθόδοξη πίστη μας και οι Πατέρες μας δεν μας διδάσκουν ότι οι Άγιοι μεταφέρουν μολυσματικές ασθένειες, αλλά στέκονται πάντα δίπλα μας, θαυματουργούν, θεραπεύουν ασθένειες, μας παρηγορούν και μεσιτεύουν για τη σωτηρία της ψυχής μας. Κύριε ελέησον. ? As a believer, this saddened me unbelievably because our Orthodox faith and our Fathers do not teach us that the Saints carry infectious diseases, but always stand by us, work miracles, cure diseases, comfort us and mediate for the salvation of our souls. Lord, have mercy. ?
