MANOUSOS YANNIS (ΜΑΝΟΥΣΟΣ Ι. ΙΩΑΝΝΗΣ) on Google
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένα υπέροχο μοναστήρι του 1600 στη μέση του πουθενά μέσα στα έλατα. Ο ναός είναι από τους πιο ωραία αγιογραφημένους ναούς που υπάρχουν. Υπάρχουν ακόμη 4 αγιογραφίες του Φώτη Κόντογλου και ολόκληρη η αγιογράφηση του Ναού που έγινε το 1621 είναι του Δημητρίου Κακαβά , ενός σπουδαίου αγιογράφου.
 A magnificent monastery of 1600 in the middle of nowhere in the firs. The temple is one of the most beautifully painted temples in existence. There are still 4 hagiographies of Fotis Kontoglou and the entire hagiography of the Temple that took place in 1621 is by Dimitrios Kakavas, a great hagiographer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μικρό πανέμορφο και αρχαίο μοναστήρι στα 910 μ τριγυρισμένο από τα ελατοδάση του Πάρνωνα. Κατανυκτικότατος ο ναός και οι εικόνες του. Ξενάγηση στην εξαιρετική βιβλιοθήκη της μονής.
Η αδελφότητα έφυγε για το Άγιον Όρος τον Οκτώβρη 2017 και δεν είναι ανοικτό σε συνεχή βάση.
Small beautiful and ancient monastery at 910 m, surrounded by the fir forests of Parnon. The temple and its icons are very nocturnal. Guided tour of the monastery's excellent library.
The fraternity left for Mount Athos in October 2017 and is not open on a regular basis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are no words that can actually describe how very special this place is. Made so much more so by being inhabited by the most beautiful monks in the cosmic world.
Fathers Prodromo, Grigori, Leonteo and (Nikodimo) are well & truly God’s helpers and live the real authentic monks way of life, always praying for all, namely everyone and everything on this planet to have health and happiness regardless of age, gender, nationality, life form (that’s right, meaning humans, animals, plants etc..) and going out of their way for each individual soul who honourably visits this sacred holy place. It’s definitely a “must visit” for all people who are visiting the Spartan Laconia region of Peloponnesus. Make sure to pay homage and ‘proskinisi’ the holy icon of the Ayioi Anargyroi inside the 400+ year old ‘katholiko’ main church. PS also another little tip I can share is having a nice cool drink of the holy water running all year round coming right from the hallowed earth on where the sacred monastery and surrounding grounds are situated Needless to say, but a visit here will undoubtedly leave anyone feeling so much better that they themselves will not be able to deny and in fact only self confirming that they will surely be a visitor destined to return sometime in the future !!!
