A beautiful estate, with manicured buildings and gardens. Nice church and a noble nun who guided me to the place. A really quiet corner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Kloster an sich ist recht unspektakulär. Es handelt sich um ein Frauenkloster, welches von drei Nonnen bewohnt wird. Im Kloster selbst kann man Kleinigkeiten wie Olivenöl oder Seife kaufen. Unglaublich ist das Wasser, welches man im Kloster erhält. Wasser hat an sich keinen"Geschmack", dieses jedoch schon. Hab selten solch gutes Wasser trinken können.
The monastery itself is quite unspectacular. It is a nunnery, which is inhabited by three nuns. In the monastery itself you can buy snacks such as olive oil or soap. Unbelievable is the water, which one receives in the monastery. Water has no "taste" in itself, but this already. Have rarely been able to drink such good water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As I believe nothing is by chance I stumbled across this beautiful church and monastery while driving. I went into look around and I was greeted by another Greek visitor who introduced me to one of the sisters (nuns). She greeted me and asked if I was Greek Orthodox or Catholic in which I replied Catholic growing up. She asked if I would like a private visit into the church. I accepted with grace. We spent time in there and she allowed me to take the time I needed and also to take photos. She then took me for some christmas cookies and a drink and we talked some more. It was such a sweet and gentle experience spending time with her sharing stories of our lives and upbringings that it brought tears to my eyes. We hugged and I left with a full heart and 2 new Olive wood crosses for my own sister and I. This is a MUST SEE with an incredible church, gardens, burial memorial dedicated to the Saint who saved the original artifacts from the original church before it was destroyed and rebuilt, and Sisters who worship and live here..AMAZING PLACE, AMAZING GRACE

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Orthodox Greek monastery with a beautiful entrance and lovely gardens. Only inhabited by 5 nuns, and one of them, Maria, gave us a little tour and a drink of water and stem ginger sweet. They also sell olive oil, wine and preserves, but unfortunately we didn't have any cash to buy these.
