★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The setting of this monastery is wonderfully romantic: wooded hills, towering grey limestone cliffs and a meandering (if dry) river. It's a bit awkward to get to (on foot) and isn't used any more so there is little to see beyond the monastery itself, but if you don't have the inclination to do so then there are great views of the monastery from the surrounding heights.
