★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bardzo fajna wycieczka do Wąwozu Viros u podnóża Tajgetu i najwyższych szczytów Peloponezu. Ja zacząłem w wiosce Kalyves po czym za biało-czerwonymi znakami w górę (Pedino). Po dojściu do szerszej drogi w prawo w dół do głównej odnogi wąwozu (bez znaków, potem żółte kropki). Od kościółka można wrócić dnem wąwozu (o ile nie ma wody i ryzyka silnych opadów). Śliczne przejście z kolorowymi skałami nad głową. Po około 2 kilometrach można wrócić ścieżką do punktu startu, całość 2 godziny. Świetne widoki. Niestety oznakowanie tras, informacje są beznadziejne. Bez aplikacji w telefonie pogubił bym się! Nie wiem jak Grecy promują turystykę górską, zwłaszcza, że poniżej popularne miasteczko pełne zabytków - Kardamili. Żenada.
A very nice trip to the Viros Gorge at the foot of Tajgetu and the highest peaks of Peloponnese. I started in the village of Kalyves followed by white and red signs up (Pedino). After reaching the wider road, turn right down to the main branch of the gorge (no signs, then yellow dots). You can return from the church with the bottom of the gorge (as long as there is no water and no risk of heavy rainfall). A lovely passage with colorful rocks above your head. After about 2 kilometers you can go back the path to the starting point, the whole 2 hours. Great views. Unfortunately route marking, information is hopeless. Without the application on the phone I would be lost! I don't know how the Greeks promote mountain tourism, especially since below is a popular town full of monuments - Kardamili. Embarrassment.
