Τον Σεπτέμβριο του 1824 βρέθηκε εκεί ο Μπενιζέλος Ρούφος και τον Οκτώβριο του ίδιου έτους συγκεντρώθηκαν οι καπεταναίοι της Επαρχίας Πατρών. Τον Ιανουάριο του 1836 ανακηρύχθηκε ως διατηρούμενη. Κατά το 1889 σύμφωνα με τον Νουχάκη είχε 20 μοναχούς, ενώ σύμφωνα με τον Χρήστο Κορύλλο είχε μόνο 8 μοναχούς και υπηρέτες. Το 1933 συγχωνεύθηκε διοικητικά με την Μονή Χρυσοποδαριτίσσης, ενώ ανασυστάθηκε ύστερα από δέκα χρόνια, το 1943 ως γυναικεία μονή πλέον από την Πατρινή Ευγενία Κολύβρα με τέσσερις μοναχές. Το 1960 είχε εννιά μοναχές, το 1971 επτά, το 1998 πέντε, και σήμερα (2018 τέσσερις. Το 2017 καταστροφικές πυρκαγιές απείλησαν το μοναστήρι. Την πρώτη φορά στις 25 Αυγούστου 2017 όπου τελικά δεν κινδύνεψε η μονή αν και η πυρκαγιά κατευθυνόταν προς εκείνη.Τη δεύτερη φορά στις 12 Σεπτεμβρίου 2017 μια μεγάλη φωτιά περικύκλωσε τη μονή η οποία τελικά διεσώθη ως εκ θαύματος την τελευταία στιγμή.
