★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μαγική τοποθεσία. Η μoνή είναι μέσα στο πράσινο δίπλα από ένα ποτάμι. Επισκέπτεσαι το μέρος κ μόνο που είσαι εκεί γαληνευεις. Ηρεμεί η ψυχή σου από την ηρεμία της φύσης κ τα υπέροχα χρώματα που δημιουργεί. Οπωσδήποτε πρέπει να την επισκεφθείτε!! Ειδικά αν είσαι λάτρης της φύσης.
Magical location. The monastery is in the green next to a river. You visit the place and only when you are there do you calm down. It calms your soul from the tranquility of nature and the wonderful colors it creates. Definitely a must visit !! Especially if you are a nature lover.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ όμορφη τοποθεσία, και όμορφο μονοπάτι μέσα από το κέντρο του Μετσόβου, περίπου 20 λεπτά με τα πόδια, κρίμα που ήταν κλειστά (καθαρά Δευτέρα) Υπάρχει και χώρος για να καθήσεις και να κάνεις μια μικρή στάση.
Very nice location, and beautiful path through the center of Metsovo, about 20 minutes walk, a pity that it was closed (clear Monday) There is also a place to sit and make a short stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4th of May 2022. Group of 3 friends at Monastery of Theotokos Koimesis.
Within walking distance from Metsovo, there is the Monastery of Theotokos Koimesis (Assumption of Mary). The landscape was magnificent all the way and when we reached the monastery it became idyllic.
Unfortunately, either the one nun didn’t hear the door bell to open…or -as they said to us later few villagers- she is afraid to open, due to corona virus. Either way, it was worth to see even the scenery.
