★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στο χωριό Συκή ο Δήμος Ζαπανιώτης έκτισε το 1795 με έξοδα του καπετάν Στέργιου Μπασδέκη τη μονή αυτή. Κάηκε μαζί με το χωριό από τους Τούρκους το 1823, ανακαινίστηκε το 1840 και ξανακάηκαν πρόσφατα τα κελιά. Σήμερα είναι γυναικείο και γιορτάζει στις 29 Αυγούστου
In the village of Syki, the Municipality of Zapaniotis built this monastery in 1795 at the expense of Captain Stergios Basdekis.
