★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ιερός τόπος και ιερό προσκύνημα στην Παναγία. Ένα μοναστήρι με ιστορία που χτίστηκε περίπου το 1400 μ.Χ και η εικόνα της Παναγίας θεωρείται θαυματουργή. Γιορτάζει τα Γενέθλια της Θεοτόκου και είναι ένα μέρος που αξίζει κάποιος να το επισκεφτεί. Οι χώροι της Μονής είναι καλοσυντηρημένοι και αυτό δείχνει το πόσο έχουν προσπαθήσει όλα αυτά τα χρόνια τόσο η Ηγουμένη όσο και οι ντόπιοι των γύρω περιοχών να διατηρήσουν τον χώρο με την σεμνότητα που του αρμόζει. Η διαδρομή μέχρι εκεί; Απλά Φανταστική. Η θέα από ψηλά στον Αμβρακικό Κόλπο σε αφήνει άφωνο να στέκεσαι ώρα να την απολαμβάνεις.
Holy place and holy pilgrimage to Our Lady. A monastery with a history built around 1400 AD and the icon of the Virgin Mary is considered miraculous. It celebrates the Birthday of the Virgin and is a place worth visiting. The areas of the monastery are well maintained and this shows how much both the Igoumenis and the locals of the surrounding areas have tried to preserve the area with the modesty it deserves. The route up there? Just Fantastic. The view from above the Amvrakikos Gulf leaves you speechless for a while to enjoy.
