Πολλοί αποκαλούν τον Όσιο Λουκά "Αγιά Σοφιά " της Ρούμελης, αλλά κατά τη γνώμη μου αρχιτεκτονικά είναι ανώτερο κτήριο από την Αγιά Σοφιά γιατί ο τρούλος του στηρίζεται σε 8 σφαιρικά τρίγωνα και όχι στα 4 ογκώδη και τεράστια της Αγιά Σοφιάς, με αποτέλεσμα να μοιάζει πιο κομψό και αέρινο. Προστατεύεται ως μνημείο παγκοσμιας πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς από την UNESCO. A beautiful monastery, one of the most beautiful churches in Greece. Wonderful mosaics and all-night atmosphere. Many call Saint Luke "Agia Sofia" of Roumeli, but in my opinion it is architecturally a higher building than Agia Sofia because its dome rests on 8 spherical triangles and not on the 4 massive and huge Agia Sofia, making it look more elegant and airy. It is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
