★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η εκκλησία είναι χτισμένη στο ανώτερο σημείο του λόφου,ο οποίος περιβάλλεται από τα τοίχη και τους κοφτούς βράχους που αποτελούν το Μεσαιωνικό Κάστρο Λιβαδειάς. Η πελώρια ιστορία που στολίζει το Κάστρο σε συνδιασμό με την πανέμορφη θέα που σου παρέχει ο λόφος, είναι άξιο θαυμασμού.
The church is built on the highest part of the hill, surrounded by the walls and the steep rocks that form the Medieval Castle of Livadia. The enormous history that adorns the Castle, combined with the beautiful view of the hill, is worthy of admiration.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το Βυζαντινό εκκλησάκι της Αγίας Σοφίας που βρίσκεται μέσα στο καστρο της Λειβαδιας είχε για τους Καταλανούς κυριαρχους του κάστρου κατά τον 14ο αιωνα μια ξεχωριστή σημασία. Φυλαγόταν εδώ η Ιερή Κάρα του Αγίου Γεωργίου, «κεφαλή, προστάτις και μεσίτρια» των βασιλιάδων του Αραγωνικού Οίκου.
Υπεροχη θεα προς το φαράγγι της Ερκυνας που περνάει από κάτω. Αξίζει να το επισκεφτείτε.
The Byzantine church of Agia Sofia located inside the castle of Livadia had a special significance for the Catalan rulers of the castle during the 14th century. The Holy Cross of Agios Georgios, "head, protector and mediator" of the kings of the Aragonese House, was kept here.
Wonderful view to the gorge of Erkyna that passes below. It is worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ωραια εμπειρία να ανεβεις εκει ψηλα και να βλεπεις ολη τη πολη πιατο ειδικα βραδυ με τα φωτα...βεβαια υπάρχει καποια ελαφρα κουραση καθως εχει αρκετα και αποτομα σκαλοπατια ...αλλα, ως γνωστον..η θεα αποζημιώνει τη κουραση...
Nice experience to go up there and see the whole city dish especially at night with the lights ... of course there is some slight fatigue as it has enough and steep stairs ... but, as is well known..the view compensates for the fatigue ...
