★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Από την λίμνη ξεκινάει ένα μονοπάτι 12 χιλιομέτρων που έχει ονομαστεί “Μονοπάτι της Αλεπούς”. Πρόκειται για μία κυκλική διαδρομή όχι μεγάλης δυσκολίας 3 σχεδόν ωρών. Η πορεία που ακολουθεί το μονοπάτι είναι παράλληλη με τις όχθες της λίμνης αρχικά αλλά σιγά σιγά ανηφορίζοντας περνά μέσα από μικρά ρέματα και λαγκάδια.
Το μονοπάτι περνάει επίσης και μέσα από τον εγκαταλελειμμένο οικισμό της Μερσινούδας. Στη θέση αυτή βρισκόταν μέχρι τις αρχές του 20ου αιώνα το χωριό Μερσινούδα που κατοικούνταν από Τούρκους (στα τουρκικά Ισενλί). Το 1924 εγκαταστάθηκαν εκεί 37 οικογένειες προσφύγων από τη Μικρά Ασία.
 From the lake starts a 12 km trail called "Fox Trail". This is a circular route of not much difficulty, almost 3 hours. The path that follows the path is parallel to the shores of the lake initially but slowly ascending it passes through small streams and ravines.
The path also passes through the abandoned settlement of Mersinouda. In this place was until the beginning of the 20th century the village of Mersinouda inhabited by Turks (in Turkish Isenli). In 1924, 37 refugee families from Asia Minor settled there.
