★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Mosaiko twice during our stay in Kalamata which says something in itself.
It's in a great location on a small pedestrianised road near the old centre of the town. It is a family run restaurant and they care about quality. They offer traditional Greek fare, and make a point of using locally sourced food of high quality which is then prepared and cooked very welll.
Important to the experience was the attentiveness of all the staff. Without being intrusive they worked hard to.make us feel welcome chatting with us at length about the town and Greece in general.
Great food, great service, great location. Go

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy and nice, we stumbled upon it by chance, while looking for a place on Christmas day. It was buzzing when we came in. Everything is locally sourced and some of it is bio. I had huge grilled prawns which was delicious. The omelette with asparagus was really good too.
