We visited the place the first day it opened in 2021 and was one of the most amazing experiences. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked without any unnecessary complexities.
It is exactly what a fish-tavern should be, and it is not a surprise that the place is operation since 1936.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was delicious. We tried geremezi cheese, sardines, their Mosxos salad, and their pasta with shrimps. We also tried the almyra salad and it was great. Tzatziki and chips were nice and I would just prefer my tzatziki with a stronger taste of garlic but that was a minor thing. The taste of ouzo in their pasta sauce was delicate and the place made our holidays better. Nice and fast service and smiley people and their own tsipouro is great as well. If we ever go back we 're definitely gonna eat there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best octopus (grilled or in wine) I had in my life. Tender and sweet and perfectly cooked. Also tried the apetizers which are amazing (the fava, eggplant salad or the taramasalata). Would definately recommend. Adding a photo of some grilled octopus and Greek salad we took to go on the beach. Efharisto poli!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Three lovely dinners in our week at the lovely island. The place is excellent. Ask for the dish of the day. Located just in front of the local church, it is the first restaurant in Skala established on 1936 and still retains the family feeling. Mostly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dinner for 5 nights here and everytime was extremely tasty. From salads, seafood, fish, pasta, moussaka, everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Cosy atmosphere, entertained by the friendly host, makes a nice relaxing dinner for all type of groups.

The service was very courteous and nice but still if I compare it to restaurants in Athens it is quite expensive and the meals are a bit small especially the grilled octopus.Unfortunately I arrived a little late before they closed so I did not have the time to be impressed with the main course.
In overall this is a good restaurant.
