We are from Germany and rented a quad for two days. Everything was fine and the staff is very friendly. Extraordinary service.

Rent buggy here, Price were great. Machine's were very noisy, 1 day rent is enough for your ears.

A very poor experience in regards to both the safety and reliability of the quad bike and of the customer service. The staff were rude and unwilling to compromise. Will never be renting from here again and hopefully others won’t either. The company is extremely dodgy and sneaky.

Scooter in good condition, almost new, only 3000km. Friendly staff, fair price. They do not inform you about the insurance, you have to ask yourself. It 's third party only. They want to keep your drivers license as deposit.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! Hired a quad bike. It was unsafe to drive so they gave us another and the battery failed. We asked for a day rent back due to the problems and couldn’t use it. They became very rude, said we just wanted a free holiday. They suddenly couldn’t understand us after speaking perfect English when we hired it. They are corrupt and do not maintain their vehicles. Very dangerous! DON’T RISK IT!

DO NOT RENT from here! To sum up: - disastrous scooters - criminal/non-existent maintenance - rude personnel Most important: Each of our scooters had problems. First, rear tire pressure was over almost twice what it should be—50 PSI instead of the 32 required and written on the tire itself (anyone who has a scooter or bike will tell you this is criminal-level maintenance, especially for a rental, in a hot place, in the middle of summer—for those who don’t know, tire pressure rises with heat) making the scooter very dangerous to ride, especially because it looks fine and there’s no way of knowing unless you measure the pressure, which any responsible renter should do. Details: Scooter 1: After almost falling twice (he recovered the scooter each time) while turning very slowly (we had just gotten the scooters and were cautious) my friend (who has owned and ridden scooters and motorcycles most of his life) had their mechanic (a nice guy, the only reason this review is two-star instead of one) look at the scooter and fully adjust the tire pressure. Then it rode fine. But his scooter also had an issue where it would turn off by itself when stopping—not particularly dangerous but not pleasant either. Scooter 2: Soon enough I realized MY scooter had an issue with braking (the front brake would go on and off when applied, probably a scarred front disc or similar) and I remained cautious in my driving, thinking I’ll pass by the rental place once back in town to get it checked or changed. I was stupid and didn’t think of checking my own rear tire pressure and thus fell while turning at an intersection (clean, dry surface) at about 10km/h (again, it was the first day, I had just discovered the braking issue and we were all very cautious with our riding, so were all going slowly) as per many witnesses (including my two friends). Some people couldn’t believe I had fallen as they were watching from their cars. This is when I learned my tire pressure had the same issue, which is what caused the fall. I deflated the tire and didn’t fall again, but spent the rest of my vacation (and more) with a severely injured right leg (luckily nothing broken). When we returned to town and the rental place that evening, I mentioned the tire pressure and fall. And I: a) got no consideration or sympathy from the operator Vivi (hope I got that right), b) was told I caused the fall “because she doesn’t know if I’m used to riding a scooter or not” (I have owned four and ridden countless others, and have also owned bikes and motorcycles over the years, riding on two wheels most of my life, which I mentioned) and, c) was told she wanted me to pay for the scrapes on the scooter made by my fall. Just to remind you, mine was the second scooter we found serious faults with. Scooter 3: After a lot of haranguing I finally got her to give me a “new” scooter (it had only 1k less km on the odometer, 4000 instead of 5000, than the previous one) which I promptly rode to a gas station to measure its rear tire pressure. Hot pressure 52 psi. Suggested cold psi: 32. The tire was rock hard, with only a thin strip for traction. After deflating the tire to the right pressure I went back to show her the pictures of the pressure readout and was treated even more rudely (also by her collaborators, who, though I knew they spoke English, kept speaking Greek in front of me) even when I tried to explain this would be dangerous for future customers. Which is why I’m writing this review. Do not rent from here. (If this is someone from Moto Technika reading, please inflate your tires and maintain your scooters responsibly and treat your customers with dignity and respect in the future. Thank you.)

Rented a quad from here. Didn't look too clean but I just thought oh well they probably don't wash them. Was told to get fuel for myself which was fine, but as I took off it had no power. I knew it was a small quad but it didn't feel right. Rode it for another 2km when I decided to take it back. It seemed like it has never had any maintenance work done to it since it was new. Tyres were flat and the brakes were shot. Steering felt loose. Engine oil light was on and the motor was soo hot I could feel it through my shoes. I took it back I was offered the different bike, it looked just as bad if not worse than the one I was given. I told them no I would like a refund, since I only had it for 20 minutes, they said sorry no refunds, even though it was their fault. This place is dodgy and dishonest. Do not rent from here!!

Currently sitting at the office waiting for them to get here to return my license to me. They told us they opened at 9 and to come before 10 because someone else is renting the quad. There are a few other people here waiting as well who have hotels to check out of and ferries to catch. First of all I made a mistake not getting an international license and my boyfriend and I really wanted to drive around the island for the day and this was the only place that would rent to us without this special license. So that was on me for not taking care of that before my trip and being desperate for a rental. I would definitely advise anyone who plans to travel and rent a vehicle internationally to get one because you can get harshly fined if you're pulled over for any reason. As for Moto teknika's business this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Not only was their rental 20 Euros more then an average rental on the island but they rented to us a quad that probably hadn't been serviced since it was purchased. Going up any hill was impossible and eventually the quad stalled so much that it broke down. Luckily we we're close to a gas station and pushed it there where a nice attendant helped us try to start it. After failing to start it we called, and they spoke to the gas attendant in Greek and tried to make him work on the vehicle and fix it as if he was working for them or something. He continued to fail and they finally told him someone would bring us a new quad. We were about 30 minutes from the office and about an hour later a man arrived in a car who then continued to work on the quad trying to fix it. He eventually told us I don't want to make you wait and he gave us a ride back to the office. At this point it was 4 o clock and our day had been spent starting and stopping trying to get to a beach that we never did reach and it was our last day on the island. At this point I wanted to ask for a refund but my bf said no let's just get another and finish the day strong. And after reading reviews while sitting at the gas station I knew it probably wouldn't work out in my favor to complain and ask for my money back. so we got a new quad and had about an hour of daylight left so we went to a near by beach and tried to make it the best of it. My advice is to get your international driving license and go to a legit rental place so you don't have to deal with sketchy people, get ripped off and ruin your vacation days.
