M	Matina S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δεν περίμενα ότι θα δω τόσο πολύ χιόνι στα τέλη του Μάρτη σε ένα βουνό τόσο κοντά στην Αττική. Η θέα είναι μοναδική ατενίζοντας τη θάλασσα με τα γραφικά κολπακια από ψηλά,από τη μια μεριά. Από την άλλη όμως ,μια σειρά από ανεμογεννήτριες χαλάνε την αισθητική αυτή,όπως επίσης και η διαδρομή μέσα από τα καμμένα δάση μέχρι να φτάσεις στην κορυφή.... I did not expect to see so much snow at the end of March on a mountain so close to Attica. The view is unique overlooking the sea with the picturesque coves from above, on one side. On the other hand, a number of wind turbines spoil this aesthetic, as well as the route through the burned forests until you reach the top ....
M	Maria Vergadou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ!! Μην ακολουθήσετε την πορεία που δείχνει το google maps από τις Πλαταιές!!! Κάκιστος δρόμος μετά το Μοναστήρι, άπειρη ώρα χαμένη και δε θα καταφέρετα να φτάσετε, εκτός ίσως με τα πόδια. Τα σχόλια που γράφουν για άσφαλτο λογικά αφορούν στη διαδρομή από τα Βίλια... Κρίμα που έχασα τόσες ώρες, ταλαιπωρήθηκα, καταπόνησα το αυτοκίνητο (ευτυχώς που δεν έπαθε κάποια ζημιά, δε θα ερχόταν καμία βοήθεια εκεί) και τελικά δεν ανέβηκα καν, αφού έχασα τόσες ώρες και δεν προλάβαινα να βρω τη σωστή διαδρομή. CAUTION!! Do not follow the path shown by google maps from Plataea !!! Bad road after the Monastery, endless time lost and you will not be able to reach it, except maybe on foot. The comments they write about asphalt logically refer to the route from Vilia ... Too bad I lost so many hours, I suffered, I strained the car (fortunately it was not damaged, no help would come there) and finally I did not even go up, after I lost so many hours and I did not have time to find the right path.

On the north face of the mountain paragliding activities are taking place almost year round. Only a sort drive of central Athens (about 75km), Kythaironas mt definitely worth the visit.
G	GreeceYou Lei on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view of Porto Germeno, Korinth bay and the Plataies plateau worth the trip！the wind on top is incredible strong thats why they have wind generators. We took the path through the town of Plataia, after passing the Monastry the road become hard for non suv. And be careful choosing the road when you saw the first wind generator,JUST GO TO THE WAY TO GENERATORS!
