★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένας ιστορικός χώρος. Ανατριχιαστικός χώρος, η ησυχία σε κάνει να ανατριχιάζεις όσο βλέπεις και πατάς στο μέρος που βασανίστηκαν άγρια τόσοι άνθρωποι. Θα προτιμούσα ο χώρος να μην ήταν προσεγμένος και μαζεμένος. Εν μέρη η ιστορία σβήστηκε και αυτό είναι το κακό.
 A historic site. Creepy place, the silence makes you shudder as you see and step on the place where so many people were brutally tortured. I would prefer the space not to be neat and crowded. In part the story has been erased and that is the bad thing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone should visit this place! A historic basement that used as detention centre during the German occupation. You have to visit and "listen" to the walls narrate the stories of the imprisoned people. Congratulations to Ethniki Insurance for the preservation and the continuous operation. Highly recommended place. Entrance is free of charge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The historic Kommandatur building in the centre of Athens constitutes to this day a reminder of German atrocities during the Occupation period of Athens...Scary but revealing. The prisoners' graffitti still haunt the place.

Was pleasantly surprised and felt sorry for all the people detained there.
Free entrance too.
Athens is not only the Acropolis at the end...
