f	food power on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Φέτος ήταν η πρώτη φορά που επισκεφθήκαμε την Αστυπάλαια και τα συναισθήματα που μας έμειναν ήταν ανάμεικτα. Σαν νησί, είναι όμορφο, αλλά όχι κάτι το ιδιαίτερο, με αποτέλεσμα να μην μας κάνει ιδιαίτερη εντύπωση. Οι παραλίες του νησιού, ήταν καλές και τα νερά καθαρά. Το μόνο αρνητικό όσον αφορά αυτό, ήταν ότι είχε υπερβολικά πολύ αέρα τις ημέρες που πήγαμε και όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο, δεν τις ευχαριστηθήκαμε όσο θα θέλαμε. Αναφορικά με την ζωή στο νησί, πρέπει να επισημανθεί ότι είναι αρκετά ακριβή για αυτά που προσφέρει. Κανένα από τα φαγητά που δοκιμάσαμε δεν μπορούμε να πούμε πως μας ξετρέλανε και πώς μας έμεινε αξέχαστο. Γενικά θεωρώ, πως οι τιμές ίσως και να είχαν ανέβει λόγω του μειωμένου τουρισμού φέτος, αλλά και πάλι από άποψη τιμής - ποιότητας δεν άξιζε. Επίσης, η εκδρομή με το καραβάκι στα κοντινά νησιά (Κουνούπα και Κουτσομύτη) ενώ είχαμε πληροφορηθεί από την ενοικιάστρια του δωματίου μας πως κοστίζει 13-15€ το άτομο, εν τέλει χρεωθήκαμε με 20€ το άτομο για μια εμπειρία που πάλι δεν μας εντυπωσίασε. Μείναμε 4 ολόκληρες ώρες στο νησί της Κουνούπας χωρίς λόγο. Το μόνο που υπήρχε εκεί ήταν η παραλία και ένα Beach bar - ταβέρνα, που απ' ο, τι φάνηκε συνεργαζόταν με τον καπετάνιο του πλοίου και ο σκοπός τους ήταν να μείνουμε πολλές ώρες εκεί για να κάνουμε κατανάλωση. Παρ' όλα αυτά, το γεγονός που μας δυσαρέστησε περισσότερο από οτιδήποτε, ήταν η συμπεριφορά των ντόπιων. Το κλίμα εξαρχής ήταν αρνητικό, καθώς παρατηρήσαμε ότι το νησί είναι χωρισμένο σε "κλίκες" μεταξύ των κατοίκων. Δεν διστάζουν να κακολογήσουν ο ένας τον άλλον χωρίς ντροπή, κάτι που προσπαθούν να το περάσουν και στους τουρίστες. Ο τρόπος που μας συμπεριφέρονταν προσπαθούσε να φανεί ευγενικός, αλλά φαινόταν ότι δεν προερχόταν αυθόρμητα και πώς οι προθέσεις τους δεν ήταν καλές. Το μόνο που ενδιέφερε τους κατοίκους της Αστυπάλαιας ήταν τα χρήματα και το ποσό "είχαν πληγεί από τον κορωνοϊό" κάτι που ήταν εμφανές από το έντονο κλίμα γκρίνιας που κυμαινόταν στην ατμόσφαιρα. Τέλος, ένα γεγονός που μας δυσαρέστησε και μας προσέβαλε ιδιαίτερα ήταν το εξής: Την τελευταία μας μέρα στο νησί, εγώ μαζί με τον φίλο μου κάναμε βόλτες και το μεσημέρι καταλήξαμε στον Πέρα Γιαλό για να φάμε. Εφόσον η κουζίνα του μαγαζιού που πήγαμε θα άνοιγε σε μισή ώρα, αποφασίσαμε να πάμε να κάτσουμε σε κάτι σκαλάκια με ίσκιο προκειμένου να μην φέρουμε τους μαγαζάτορες σε δύσκολη θέση. Ενώ καθόμασταν κανονικά, αγκαλιά, χωρίς να κάνουμε κάτι προκλητικό, ξαφνικά ήρθε ένας αστυνομικός και μας είπε να φύγουμε, με την δικαιολογία ότι η κοινωνία εκεί είναι πιο κλειστή και μάλλον τους προσβάλαμε με την συμπεριφορά μας. Αυτό που συνέβη, χωρίς υπερβολή ήταν παράλογο, γιατί δεν ενοχλήσαμε κανέναν με την συμπεριφορά μας. Μετά από αυτό το γεγονός, κάθισα και αναρωτήθηκα πως αν αντιμετώπισαν εμάς έτσι, που η συμπεριφορά μας ήταν κοσμιοτάτη, πώς θα αντιμετώπιζαν άτομα της LGDB κοινότητας, καθώς υπήρχαν πολλά ομοφυλόφιλα ζευγάρια στο νησί. Βέβαια, απ' ο,τι ακούσαμε εκείνη την ίδια μέρα από συζήτηση ντόπιων, είχαν καλέσει πάλι την αστυνομία για να "μαλώσουν" κάποια παιδιά Γυμνασίου που χαρακτήριζαν ως "συμμορίες". Από εκεί επομένως καταλάβαμε πως δεν είχαμε εμείς το πρόβλημα, αλλά οι κάτοικοι, που απ' όσο φαίνεται δεν είναι έτοιμοι για τουρισμό. Συμπερασματικά, για να είμαι αντικειμενική το νησί είναι όμορφο, χωρίς κάτι το πολύ ξεχωριστό. Όλο το υπόλοιπο όμως, από τις υπηρεσίες μέχρι τους κατοίκους, θεωρώ πως δεν αξίζει καθόλου. Δεν θα το πρότεινα. This year was the first time we visited Astypalea and the emotions we were left with were mixed. As an island, it is beautiful, but not something special, so it does not make a special impression on us. The beaches of the island were good and the waters were clear. The only downside was that it was too windy the days we went and as expected, we did not enjoy it as much as we would have liked. Regarding life on the island, it should be noted that it is quite expensive for what it offers. None of the foods we tried can say that they drove us crazy and how we were unforgettable. In general, I think that the prices may have gone up due to the reduced tourism this year, but again in terms of price - quality it was not worth it. Also, the boat trip to the nearby islands (Kounoupa and Koutsomyti) while we had been informed by the tenant of our room that it costs 13-15 € per person, in the end we were charged with 20 € per person for an experience that again did not impress us. We stayed 4 whole hours on the island of Kounoupa for no reason. The only thing there was the beach and a Beach bar - tavern, which apparently collaborated with the captain of the ship and their purpose was to stay there for many hours to consume. Nevertheless, the fact that displeased us more than anything else was the behavior of the locals. The climate was negative from the beginning, as we noticed that the island is divided into "cliques" between the inhabitants. They do not hesitate to malign each other without shame, something they try to pass on to tourists. The way they treated us tried to look polite, but it did not seem to come spontaneously and how their intentions were not good. The only thing that interested the residents of Astypalea was the money and the amount "they had been affected by the coronavirus", something that was evident from the intense atmosphere of whining that fluctuated in the atmosphere. Finally, an event that displeased and offended us was the following: On our last day on the island, my friend and I went for walks and at noon we ended up in Pera Gialos to eat. Since the kitchen of the shop we went to would open in half an hour, we decided to go sit on some shaded stairs in order not to put the shopkeepers in a difficult position. While we were sitting normally, hugging, without doing anything provocative, suddenly a policeman came and told us to leave, with the excuse that the society there is more closed and we probably insulted them with our behavior. What happened, without exaggeration, was absurd, because we did not disturb anyone with our behavior. After this event, I sat down and wondered how they would treat us if they treated us like this, that our behavior was very decent. LGDB community, as there were many gay couples on the island. Of course, from what we heard that day from a discussion of locals, they had called the police again to "fight" some high school children who they characterized as "gangs". From there, therefore, we realized that we did not have the problem, but the residents, who apparently are not ready for tourism. In conclusion, to be objective the island is beautiful, without something very special. But everything else, from the services to the residents, I think is not worth it at all. I would not recommend it.
Χ	Χριστοφορος Δημητροπουλος on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Θα ήθελα να εκφράσω την έντονη δυσαρέσκεια μου για την εμπειρία μου στο νησί. Είναι ένας παραμυθένιος τόπος με μοναδικό τοπίο και φυσική ομορφιά. Ωστόσο οι δρόμοι σας είναι ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΟΙ. Γελάω που η πρώτη σας μέριμνα ήταν τα ηλεκτρικά αυτοκίνητα και όχι η κατασκευή δρόμων για τις ομορφότερες παραλίες σας( Βατσες και Καμινακια). Επίσης τι ήταν αυτό που εμπόδισε την ολοκλήρωση του δρόμου προς το βαθύ; Κάναμε τόσα χιλιόμετρα να φτάσουμε και εν τέλει γύρισαμε πίσω από τα νεύρα. Ισως οι χειρότεροι δρόμοι που έχω αντικρίσει. Πάρτε μαθηματακια από το camping Astypalaia που είναι ότι πιο οργανωμένο και αξιοπρεπές έχω δει. Τέλος το κάστρο ήταν σε αστεία κατάσταση, χωρίς τα απαραίτητα προστατευτικά και με πολλά σκουπίδια. Σταματηστε να προσκαλείται διάσημους να έρχονται τζάμπα στο νησί και κάντε κάτι για να προσελκύσετε τους κοινούς θνητούς σαν εμάς που αφήνουμε και κάνα φράγκο. I would like to express my strong dissatisfaction with my experience on the island. It is a fairytale place with unique landscape and natural beauty. However your roads are UNACCEPTABLE. I laugh that your first concern was electric cars and not the construction of roads for your most beautiful beaches (Vatses and Kaminakia). Also what was it that prevented the completion of the road to the deep? We did so many kilometers to reach and finally we got back on our nerves. Probably the worst roads I have ever seen. Take lessons from camping Astypalaia which is the most organized and decent I've ever seen. Finally, the castle was in a funny condition, without the necessary protections and with a lot of garbage. Stop inviting celebrities to come to the island and do something to attract ordinary mortals like us who leave and make a franc.

Πήγε εκεί για να εκτελέσει την κοινωνική του θητεία και έχει αλλάξει όλο το κλήμα και η εξυπηρέτηση! Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ! The town hall has changed completely since Savvas went there.
