A decommissioned ships as naval museum which keeps / carry the history of the country, marked by events of national importance. Definitely, worth to visit with all family. The ship served as the Greek flagship during most of the first half of the century. Although popularly known as a battleship, she is in fact an armored cruiser the only ship of this type still in existence.

A very interesting and historical site of Greece! My kids loved it as you can really walk around and see a 1911 build battle ship.

Formidable armored cruiser built in Italy and used by the Royal Hellenic Navy during the first half of 20th century. Rather unique and large museum with well-preserved interior and exterior, cheap ticket prices and much to see. WC and souvenir shop available. It's a must visit for people who are interested in battleships and/or Greek history.

Found this place while walking the marina. Didn't know this cruiser was there and that you can actually visit it. Enter price is so cheap it would be a pity to miss the opportunity to visit it. I was almost alone in the ship which was amazing to experience the place. Definitely a place to recommend!

An incredible museum. A battleship from early 1900 or to be precise from 1911 that played a huge role to Greece's dominance at the Aegean sea. Very well preserved. A must visit for both greeks and tourists. Next to this battleship there is also a real size replica of the ancient trireme. An ancient type of ship that was used at naval battles in ancient Greece and also the one that helped ancient Greeks to sail all over eastern Mediterranean.
