Mykonos Dove Beachfront Hotel - Platis Gialos

I just would not call it a 5 stars hotel. Pool is super dirty and bathroom stink. Room service is super slow and don't respond on most of our requests. We got dirty towls couple of times, they don't provide water bottoles except one welcoming bottole, tgen you have to purchase. Bathroom door was broke since we arrived and no body came to fix it. Breakfast is fine but not so amazing. I put 2 stars for the view we got witg the room. Also you don't want to stay here if you are looking for quiet place on Mykonos, music is loud outside till 3 AM.

Best hotel on platis gialos... wonderful friendly staff... Marino, Elina and Penny are really unique and marvellous.

Great place with friendly people !!! The breakfast was unbelievable! I couldn’t choose what I would like to have! Everything we tasted was really really good! In the evening we had dinner and everything again was so delicious!! The menu was full of interesting choices ! Well done ! Good job!!!

Great location on beach front of beautiful plates gialos with great shisha, drinks, staff. Prices. But music is off and does not vibe. Please improve your playlist to suit the crowd and create an ambiance instead of random playlist ranging from abba to deaf punk to rock music all in 10 minutes. People would stay longer and would dance more.

No hot water in the room, I talked to them 3 times they fix it the last night in my trip. The private pool and the balcony is dirty unlike the pictures. Positive thing the staff are friendly.

This Hotel is a Scam ! They are thieves , crooks and liars . They name there Hotel “beach front” but the room they tried to put us in was anything but a beach front . The only thing my room was in front of was a construction sight . Don’t do it ! Don’t just read my review . Please read others .I wish I had read the reviews before booking . Live and learn. We had to immediately find another hotel after this encounter and they refused to refund my money . The Hotel will try to save face and write a comment to this post with another LIE ! They will say that the listing was clear however it most certainly was not . I would not have booked if I knew my room was in front of ongoing construction. I took photos of this , I took video and now I have to go through the hassle of explaining this to my credit card company . Terrible terrible ordeal that I wish upon no one . Had they refunded my money immediately then I can say it was just an honest mistake however the fact they would not refund me proves these people are Thieves . This is the first negative review I have ever written .. I would just not write a review usually if I wasn’t happy .. but this is beyond that .. I feel I need to warn other people so this doesn’t happen to anyone .

Positives: Pleasant and helpful waiter/server, Vasili, and very helpful front desk employee. Prompt service when requesting car service and scheduling COVID tests for our flight home. Breakfast food and beach service was mostly good. Negatives: I regret booking our first time stay in Greece at this resort in Mykonos. There were bugs (small cockroaches?) in our room--even one on our bed! Additionally, though they were gracious enough to move us to another room after we complained, our first room had no electrical service on one side of the room, a broken hot tub on the balcony, and poor air-conditioning. Our friends who traveled with us found mold in their shower which gave their room a significant moldy smell as well as poorly working air-conditioning. The hotel was marketed to us as beachfront and the high price of a stay likely was a reflection of the main lobby (not the room w were in) was adjacent to the beach. But we honestly could have enjoyed better accomodations at one of the many hotels in the immediate area for much less money per night. In fact, we ended up staying an extra night in a different hotel close by with much better aesthetics and hospitality for about $150 less per night. ? Mykonos is a breathtakingly beautiful island to which I can definitely see myself returning. I will never book another stay at Mykonos Dove Hotel if that happens. Beware.

This hotel stole $1700+ from us. They are crooks. We unfortunately booked our honeymoon with them in early 2020. As Covid happened and the world was unable to travel, they gave us a voucher with credit available for 18 months after which point they promised a full refund (in writing mind you - I have the voucher). Our bank wouldn't allow us to challenge the charge since the hotel was "making an effort." Fast forward 18 months and we were unable to use the voucher since Covid continued to restrict international travel. The hotel was supposed to refund us in Dec and they have refused to do so. They've responded to emails a couple times saying they would but kept making excuses and refuse to follow through. Don't support a business that benefitted from Covid by stealing money from guests without providing a service and refusing to refund them as promised. Not being able to take our honeymoon was NOT our choice. We were legally unable to travel on our original dates due to Covid restrictions. We never stayed there and they kept our money, refused to give it back. I can't say enough about how terrible our experience has been. Stay ANYWHERE ELSE! I imagine they treated others the same way but most likely gave up without saying anything. Don't support this hotel when they stole from their guests without repercussion or any human decency.
