You will find buses right after you leave the ferry to take you to downtown.

Gets crowned in summer period. For a couple or more you need to get the taxi to FIRA town and then a bus or taxi to other villages. Great island. The budget place is PERISSA where you can get a hotel for 40 euro for two people including breakfast, until 1st of July.

Lovely Harbour based views back into the main shopping / tourist area of Mykonos. Pleasant to walk around and take in all the seas based sites. If your walking here from the cruise terminal just note that there is no footpath, your just walking on the side of the road. There is a small wall on the seas side but the cars / buses do get a little close.

The place is pretty big. Lively place where you can take amazing pictures. But also very expensive. Plan accordingly because you can get lost easily. Also cars can’t enter the city so expect to walk!!

The old port is the center of Mykonos town now mainly occupied with bars and restaurants facing the sea, and boutiques, jewelry stores and galleries in the alleys behind. They have one in common - super expensive and overpriced. As our local car renter told us while driving us to the new port upon returning our car, this island was made super expensive on purpose and differs from all others in Greece in that way. Walking the old port is picturesque, nice and fun but I wouldn't suggest sitting here and dining, unless you like making a fool of yourself with astronomic prices

Mykonos has 2 ports about 2km apart. The ferries arrive to the new one and this old port has lots of great luxury boats residing in it and some cruise ships dock here. The town and bars are right alongside the port and it’s a great place to hang out. Lovely buildings, streets and vibe. Especially great in the evening when the sun sets over the water - great for photos.
