it has most of things you need.
still you need to drive 40 mins more to go to the center of the island, chora.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gavrio is a little port, the entrance to the magnetic Andros island. As this I a local port, there isn't many activities to do there. You will find restaurants, little market, post office, atm and local shops (jewelry, bookstores...) but it's not touristic. You can also have a look to the city of Gavrio, which is lovely, typical of cycladic villages
