Mykonos Thea - Agios Sostis

Beautiful private beach, fantastic view from the swimming pool. This is the right place for those who like the quietness. In car only 15 minutes from Chora. A little paradise on earth!

We just returned from a nine night stay at Mykonos Thea. This place ticks all the boxes for bagging the title - Paradise!! Any amount of praise will not do justice to this gem. The property itself is located a Agios Sostis which is approx 15 - 20 mins away from the main town. You will need to hire a transport to commute as it is located away from the tourist crowd and buzz. As we got to the property the owner was waiting for us. She is a lovely lady, always smiling. The resort is a beautiful place, just as it looks in the pictures. There are gorgeous views over to the sea.. all the rooms have balconies which face the sea. They have a nice pool with stunning views as well. The place has access to a private beach and it is a perfect place to get some peace and enjoy the sun! They provide only breakfast as mentioned in the description and you can have a nice breakfast room overlooking the bay while indulging in some delicious home made treats made by another lovely lady. The pool has loungers all around and umbrellas. Perfect to lay in the sun after a dip and look out to the sea. They also have a private parking area for the guests which is just what you need when you hire a transport. They have wifi access if you need one. The rooms are immaculate and well maintained with a small kitchenette and basic pots and pans and other things you would need to whip up a meal. This is extremely helpful as there are only two restaurants next to the property.There is a lady who comes to clean the room everyday.You might want to carry milk and sugar with you as you go for that cup of tea after a journey! The closest market is 15min drive away on the way to the main town. About 5mins walk from the resort is KiKi's Tavern,and is a MUST GO. They have a nice bbq spread are famous in Mykonos.But be prepared for the long wait. They shut at 7pm. The property is also walking distance away from a couple of good beaches. Quiet and scenic. This is an ideal place for people who want to get away from crowds and noise. We had a great time and would strongly recommend it!

I will recommend this place to everyone. It is everything we could have asked for. Beautiful resort area and amazing private beach. Downtown Mykonos town is a zoo so this was a nice escape. Get an atv or car though because the island is tough to get around. We choose the atv and was easy to zip around anywhere we wanted.

Everything was delightful. The owners are helpful and the facilities top nudge. There is access to a private beach, pools and a couple of nearby places to eat, including the famous Kiki's. Otherwise this is isolated from the Mykonos nightlife and more in a relaxing, romantic far away location. Don't forget to ask for transportation service.

Everything was really perfect. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast amazing, the two suites we had booked really nice and the view over the bay was stunning. All in all a perfect spot for people searching the quiet and beautiful side of myconos. Total recommendation!

Ann and all staff are helpful and nice. everything is perfect. breakfasts are delicious. rooms and the other areas are very clean. every rooms have private balcony and chairs. it is a quiet and nice place.

Such a lovely place! The view here is absolutely stunning. It is close to a beach that is secluded, so you won't find a lot of people there. While it is a bit away from the town, a quick ride on a moped or a quad bike will get you there in no time. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple yet delicious! If you are looking for relaxation, this is the perfect choice.

I stayed at the cheapest room, and either way, it was great, comfortable and luxurious. Even though everything is quite simple, they took it to another level, making it nice and well thought! The room is flawless, the common areas, perfect, the beach in front is amazing, private and quiet, the breakfast is delicious... it was an extraordinary experience! It’s definitely the place to stay in Mykonos if you want a calm and relaxing experience!
