★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was very poor , the room had a horrible smell of mold like it’s been closed for 5 years , breakfast was basic , room next door was very loud during bedtime and nobody from the hotel made a notice. Would not recommend to anyone. Would not visit again.

There seem to be newer Rooms, our room seemed pretty dated. For staying one night before the flight home it might be fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good standard family run hotel. As far as you can get from the chain hotel experience. Interesting location in a residential area but with great sea views (if your room is on the right side). Tiny bathrooms but maybe I’m just too big… Friendly staff, hearty breakfast and close to the airport if you have to make a run for it… can’t fault the place for the 50 EUR room rate.

After discovering the ceiling and bed were covered in bugs, my partner and I agreed we did not feel comfortable sleeping there and found another hotel instead. Myrto hotel refused to refund us saying it was “not fair” and also said we were lying about the bugs because the maid did not see any. Told them I took plenty of photos and videos of it, yet they read my message and did not respond. Terrible experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Summary: okay for a one-night stay, but definitely don't book this hotel for your whole vacation in Athens.
Located in medium vicinity to Athens and it's airport. The water was down in the hotel shortly after we arrived. However this was not their fault, giving us a bottle of water to brush our teeth was hard and we should have bought this for €2 per 1,25L bottle of water. The room is way smaller and less bright than the pictures make you believe. Our room had old furniture which showed signs of wear, there was an undefinable stain on the cord of the phone and the bathroom window had a lovely view over what smelled like a hole that led down to the sewage system. Luckily the shower had mold in the corners and the water pressure (yes we still had water in the first hour we arrived) was just barely enough to get the shampoo out of my hair. After oufcourse I held the shower head in the right angle because there was no way to fix it to the wall.
On the plus side, the (dinner) food in the restaurant which also offered room service was OK priced and well prepared. The bed was also clean and quite comfy.
