★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was really nice to stay at. There was free breakfast which was nice and the private pool was great, although it was quite cold even on the hot days. It made it a little too refreshing. The villas are cleaned daily to perfection which is nice. It is also a great place to watch the sunset.

The pictures don't promise too much. We can only recommend the accommodation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was superb especially Lucia the manager who could not be more accommodating or customer-focused. We had the 3BR villa shared with another couple for 5 nights. The breakfast was excellent. The housekeeping and driving services also excellent. The ambience can use a couple of improvements. The large sofa in the living room is old and covered with a large blanket. For $1000 US/day it could be nicer. There is a serious safety issue with the staircase downstairs from the living room which needs hand rails. A fall would yield tragic consequences. The 2nd (of 2) bathrooms only has a shower wand at waist level and could really use an overhead shower head installed. It’s hard to shower in that bathroom. Overall a very nice place to stay and we cannot thank Lucia enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I had an unforgettable stay at Mythique in October. The Villa Lava was the perfect getaway and experience and more than exceeded our expectations. The view of the caldera in our opinion is by far the best on the island and the villa's location is perfect, very close to Oia but just far enough to enjoy the privacy that we were looking for. The accomodation and service was impeccable. A special shout out and big thanks to Lucia, the Villa Manager. Lucia went above and beyond to help ensure we have an experience of a lifetime, from setting up activities as well as unbelievable dining experiences. The whole staff including John and Maria treat you like family and every day went the extra mile to please us. We cannot wait to come again next summer, this time with the whole family so they can all experience what we did. Thank you again Lucia for all you did to help make this one of our best vacations ever!
